What the fuck kind of obscene shit is this!

Urgh. Front hole my arse.

It's a horrible term. Halfway between childish (it's a 'front bottom', they can't possibly pronounce 'vagina' yet) and slang ('getting your hole' was a phrase a man would use for having sex when I was a lass. Bleurgh!).

And yes - what are they going to call a penis? Although I think we all know that'll be renamed to 'penis'.

It is very clearly male-derived, since in women, the urethra is the first tube.

Male-coding is clear in the idea of a vagina as a "hole", because the vagina is not a "hole", it is a channel designed to receive sperm and deliver a baby.

In a male the penis is a one-way system and the urethra is not a separate piece of anatomy.

Calling a vagina a "hole", codes it as a one-way, dead-end system designed only for penetration.

But also, referring to a complex piece of female anatomy as a "hole", is a deliberate attempt to obscure the reality of female biology. It is reductive, misogynistic language which should be resisted.

When I first heard of this I was convinced it was an April Fool's joke. It wasn't. So to get this straight, transwomen have vaginas while women have 'front holes'.

Anyone who accepts this must never, ever lecture others on appropriation.

I've been known to tell DS to put his dinner in his mouth hole before - but only because it clearly sounds ridiculous and infantile, and makes him laugh.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I actually rename any of my bodily orifices holes, when they have medically accurate names (as opposed to inaccurate, infantile ones)

I've observed, in the last few years, the normalisation of using base words for vagina as a term of generic abuse. 20-30 years ago it would have been considered reactionary, philistine and chauvinistic to do this. I do think that those who use and tolerate these base words used as terms of abuse, are active participants in our oppression. I look to how race rights activists have successfully managed the weaponisation of racist language in the ongoing fight for justice, for inspiration.

Exactly how I feel about the use of 'cunt' as an insult. A cunt is an amazing, warm, giver and receiver of life and love. Every woman has a wonderful cunt. Turning it into an insult is itself an insult.

Public Service Announcement

It has been brought to our attention that one half of people have three 'holes' in the genital area, and that our new inclusive terminology has mislabeled the middle hole as the front hole.

To clarify our terms we would like to announce that the three holes will henceforth be named thus:
Frontfront hole
Front hole
Backfront hole

We feel this is more inclusive than the outdated 'urethra', 'vagina' and 'anus'. One of which has been exclusively associated with femaleness, which is gross and yucky.

It's backward, post op trans women have a hole. Women have a vagina. What trans women have comes nowhere close to the complexities of the female reproductive system.

They are litrially trying to take our vaginas from us now.

When I give birth with I have to refer to it as a front hole delivery.

A Protrudy dangle piss tube more like. I belong to a camp Facebook page and front hole term is used there amongst other vile mysoginistic terms. They say they are joking but I remain unconvinced.

Also the comments made by men upon the Facebook newspaper pages regarding the murder of a pregnant Woman and her three children are a perfect example of how much hate there is for Women by men. They can understand why a Woman is murdered by her Husband but not the children. Women wanted equal rights do this is what you get. Sigh.....
