Joining, pretending to be feminists and posting shitty stuff, screenshotting that stuff as proof of how 'transphobic' this forum is.

Message from MNHQ: Thanks to all who posted/reported this thread. The OP has now de-regged and we're unsure whether they're genuine or not so we thought it best to get rid.

I noticed this a few days back, but its been very obvious the past day or so, new members often posting actual transphobic things, then this being shared on twitter.

Pathetic I reckon, but they seem to think its effective Hmm

Flowers for datun...the most patient and reasonable person on mumsnet

I think when people are essentially wanting us to fill in a survey for them then a polite response explaining we are a discussion forum and asking them to read past threads to find answers to questions especially if they have a few is all that's needed. I don't think the recipe stuff helps and it keeps these threads near the top when they deserve to sink.
If the thread then becomes dominated by TRAs that's fine. Keep them on one thread, they can have a nice chat to each other, mumsnet can prove there is a variety of views on FWR and we stick to threads when we're discussing stuff not playing with sealions and other creatures.

I think I understand the point of deregging themselves... it means that they can come back and (despite posting banworthy things - though I didn't see this example) not be counted as a PBP by mnhq. So they can keep doing it a bit more "under the radar"...?

This is one of the reasons a site aimed at parents is such a stupid place for them to try this shit. So many of us are used to saying "That's nice dear, now pull your trousers up, I'm talking to Karen now..."

Excellent Grin
