I'll post it as a clicky link;

blogs.spectator.co.uk/2018/07/the-limits-of-stonewalls-tolerance/

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 20:48

Great article! Thank you.

HotRocker · 31/07/2018 20:50

Sorry, I have no idea how to make a link clicky.

UpstartCrow · 31/07/2018 20:58

If its in the first post, you have to put double square brackets round it with no spaces like this;

link

But if its in subsequent posts, then you just post the link and the site makes it clicky.

UpstartCrow · 31/07/2018 20:58

Dammit sorry I forgot to leave the spaces so you can read it Grin

Ah, thank you Upstart.

Excellent article.

NameChangedAgain18 · 31/07/2018 21:10

I'm trying to think of any other charity that has seen the opportunity to make more money by fucking over the people it's supposed to support, and grapsed it with both hands.

silentcrow · 31/07/2018 21:48

*Stonewall’s funding has increased dramatically in recent years, from £4.33m in 2013, to £7.24m in 2017, according to data from Open Charities.

But what is all this money being spent on?*

Wrong question.

Where is the money coming from?

Beamur · 31/07/2018 21:54

Another thoughtful article from the Spectator and interesting quote from Stonewall original co founder.

KidsCompany

Wanderabout · 31/07/2018 23:12

KidsCompany

Oh yeah.

RiverTam · 31/07/2018 23:16

Does anyone else think Mermaids is a Kids Company in the making?

JessBradleysInvisibleCock · 31/07/2018 23:22

Do you notice that there are no 'Some People are Lesbians' in that Stonewall photo?

BigGreenOlives · 31/07/2018 23:25

RiverTan - I do & I’ve brought them up before. Cult of personality, lack of professionalism, lack of judgement by those supporting them. Well meaning liberals not willing to stop & use critical thinking.

BoreOfWhabylon · 01/08/2018 02:19

Yes, I've made the comparison before too.

And now we have Jess Bradley as a little Camila Batmanghelidjh de nos jours

BigGreenOlives · 01/08/2018 07:40

I see Susie G as leader as she has access to far more funds. JB is more of a maverick bringing the movement into ill repute.

BlytheByName · 01/08/2018 11:39

It's so important that Simon Fanshawe has spoken up..I hope it encourages more high profile gay men, or low profile gay men, or any men to support us lesbians.

PositivelyPERF · 01/08/2018 11:45

Brilliant article. Gets straight to point, of the damage that the #nodebate brigade are causing to the gay and lesbian members.

Wanderabout · 01/08/2018 11:51

Do you notice that there are no 'Some People are Lesbians' in that Stonewall photo?

Funny that.

Procrastinator1 · 01/08/2018 14:08

I'm not so sure that Kid's Company advocated something which physically harmed young people. It did show the great and good are idiots though.

bzzbeebzz · 01/08/2018 14:33

Quiote from that article - “Male bodied lesbians” - I’ve heard it all now

NameChangedAgain18 · 01/08/2018 15:02

There's no such thing as a male lesbian. Just another run-of-the-mill, mediocre, white middle-aged man who's pissed off that a segment of the female population won't sleep with men. So he paints his nails and tries to make himself look interesting with a self-declared identity in lieu of a personality.

BlytheByName · 01/08/2018 20:30

I've just seen this DJ drag queen tweet this.
Good on him!

Lady Lloyd (@DJLadyLloyd) Tweeted:
I was told today it is offensive to refer to myself as a transvestite. I am a transvestite. I also identify as a tranny (faux shock) a drag queen a cross dresser and yes male. Can we self identify or not? (a thread) twitter.com/DJLadyLloyd/status/1024712864811102210?s=17

Obviously I don't want anyone to get piled on, and he probably won't because he's a man, but we need gay men, drag queens, everyone speaking out about the bullying and totalitarian behaviour of the trans activists.
They will have no allies left eventually.
