What an incredible achievement.

I couldn't have done that at 31, never mind 51 (and having had a hysterectomy and breast cancer).

She's the first person to run the "double Ramsey" - yes that's right, first person not "just" the first woman.

116 miles and just shy of 56 hours.

She's broken multiple Fell running records - why isn't she Dame Nicky?

Time to celebrate an amazing achievement by a female athlete!!!!

Holy moly.

That's incredible.
I really must exercise my puddingy body. Women like this make me give myself a long stern look. I'm in awe though.

Thanks for sharing

Truly awesome (not a word I often use, and not hyperbolic in this case).

OlennasWimple · 10/07/2018 15:44

Blimey!

Sports Personality of the Year (sadly unlikely, we all know that's going to Harry Kane)

CloudCaptain · 10/07/2018 15:46

Amazing achievement.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 10/07/2018 15:48

Amazing! How inspiring and well done to her. Smile

BettyDuMonde · 10/07/2018 15:49

Wow! What a woman!

aaarrrggghhhh · 10/07/2018 15:50

I just sent a text to my friend telling her I was so pleased with myself that I'd done a yoga class this morning.

Perspective restored...

What a woman!

Ereshkigal · 10/07/2018 15:52

Wow!

FermatsTheorem · 10/07/2018 15:54

What an amazing woman.

(Back when I lived in W Yorks I knew a number of female fell runners - they really are a breed apparatus).

AssassinatedBeauty · 10/07/2018 15:56

She is genuinely inspirational, what a woman!

LangCleg · 10/07/2018 16:01

What a woman.

AtreidesFreeWoman · 10/07/2018 16:24

This is great watch it's anyone's interested as she does another "double" run.

First person in 37 years to complete it.

UglyCathKidstonBag · 10/07/2018 16:27

What an impressive woman, all credit to her.
Well done Nicky.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 10/07/2018 16:33

Hurrah!

Typeractive · 10/07/2018 16:35

Amazing woman. What an inspirational story.

Thanks for sharing.

AtreidesFreeWoman · 10/07/2018 16:39

I totally agree on Sports personality of the year.

We should absolutely lobby for her to be nominated.

OP posts:
enoughisenough12 · 10/07/2018 16:41

Fantastic achievement. Yes, let's get her nominated.

ErrolTheDragon · 10/07/2018 16:41

Does anyone know how to do that?
(I noticed a comment on the bob graham link someone thought she should have had it in 2016).

EmpressWeaponisedClitoris · 10/07/2018 16:46

Fantastic!

AtreidesFreeWoman · 10/07/2018 16:46

Nope but I'm googling it now :-)

OP posts:
IfNot · 10/07/2018 16:46

Ah, she's a Yorkshire farmer! That makes sense. Especially the bit where she said she was slightly worried at one point when her knees ached a bit.Grin
Contrast that to the rolling on the floor and crying of so many 20 year old male footballers...
Well done Nicky. BrewCake

WomanWithAltitude · 10/07/2018 16:48

She also holds the record for a double BGR. She's absolutely amazing, and lovely IRL.

LastOneDancing · 10/07/2018 16:49

She stopped seven times for a couple of minutes each time. In 55 hours.

I stopped seven times last week when I did 4.5 miles Blush.

Amazing. Inspirational.

EmpressWeaponisedClitoris · 10/07/2018 16:50

I did 7.5 miles last Saturday, stopped & walked a couple of times, then went home & spent the rest of the day lazing about.

55 hours ShockShockShock
