Well MNHQ we have the start of the exodus. Posters leaving due to these new guidelines that throw women under the bus.

A poster has deleted their account today due to the upset and stress of getting a strike for saying something that is 100% true. We know it's true because TRA's posted it on Twitter themselves, yet we post it and it's kick off time at HQ

It's a fucking disgrace HQ WOMEN are your target audience yet you don't give a fucking shiny shit about us. Not a fucking shit and it stinks.

More and more women will leave and you will be left with nothing more than people who present as opposite to their birth sex sitting posting about heels, make-up, clothes and fucking knitting.

Good luck with that one.

See, that's because some men think they are the hub of the family.

I don't know a man alive that loves and respects his Gran and who would not be destroyed if Gran said 'Oh Rashid, you've really let me down' or 'Eee, Davy, I'm so disappointed'.

spontaneousgiventime · 26/06/2018 19:21

Oh Nat is in for a shock. I've just phoned 101 and know where I stand. All parents and grans should know too. Get informed!

MunchausensLovelyHorse I've posted 3/4 times on this thread, people who want the other places details can DM me. Sorry, I'm not chasing people who don't read threads.

Fuck Fuck and many apologies Spontaneous, - my inbox showed no messages for the last couple of days, and now three have just popped up at once.

spontaneousgiventime · 26/06/2018 19:30

No problem, things happen.

I think I might have been shadowbanned on Twitter (sudden significant drop in engagement) so I'm probably a bit jumpy.

Pratchet · 26/06/2018 19:40

Just come back to see a completely unjustified personal attack! That's outrageous!

Pratchet · 26/06/2018 19:41

Horse, you can check , there is a way

R0wantrees · 26/06/2018 19:47

MunchausensLovelyHorse

I have had some 'glitches' with my messages over the last few weeks.

It is worth advising MN.

There was a thread on site stuff a couple of weeks ago.

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 19:51

Thanks, Pratchet, just googling it. It's all feeling a bit anti-democratic.

What with that and the misogynist wiki-editing, I'm pretty fucked off.

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 19:52

Cheers, R0wantrees Odd, isn't it?

Ereshkigal · 26/06/2018 19:55

I know. I am shadow banned too so I sympathise.

R0wantrees · 26/06/2018 19:56

Yes Munch I had some very very odd occurances a couple of weeks ago. My 'message poster' option attached a message to the bottom of a thread! Thankfully it wasn't anything personal.

Additionally over a period of time messages were held up both when sent and received.

I was assured by MN technical team that 'nothing sinister' though they were still looking into the 'glitch'.

thebewilderness · 26/06/2018 20:07

I messaged you Munch.

ImPreCis · 26/06/2018 20:19

I DOnt post much on here, but have read these threads avidly. Peak Trans occurred quickly!
Managed to Peak a couple of friends and DH.

Both my DC think I am wrong, crazy and, apparently, ‘it’s an age thing’ .
The MN shutdown, coupled with The Labour Party stance on this has left me feeling upset, angry and silenced.
I cannot cope with wrestling with the words to fulfill the guidelines set out by MN any more. I just want to be able to speak how I feel, on a Woman’s Site. This should not be too much to ask.

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 20:21

thebewilderness nothing showing In my inbox yet but I'll let you know. And thank you.

Might de-reg and re-reg from a new IP at this rate. It's been six and half years ... I thought I knew this place. All it's doing now is causing massive anxiety. And that's a medical condition MNHQ, not a prejudice.

ErrolTheDragon · 26/06/2018 20:38

apparently, ‘it’s an age thing’

When someone younger than you says this, I'd be inclined to reply that it may be... but why do they seem to be making the assumption that the judgement of someone with more experience and knowledge of the world is inferior to theirs?

Ah, the arrogance of youth. Been there, done that, grown up.

thebewilderness · 26/06/2018 20:59

It is an age and experience thing.
Once burned, twice cautious. Never burned, ignorance is bliss.

Cuntysnark · 26/06/2018 21:08

Beautifully put thebewilderness

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 21:13

My DS is 20 and did the 'age thing' but we talked about it from the perspective of girls he knows who are gay / lesbians and I think he gets it now.

An interesting crossed wire was that he thought that in mentioning the intactness of most transwomen that I was promoting the 'mutilation' (his word) of male bodies; when in fact I don't want anyone to be losing body parts. I want men to expand and stretch the narrative of 'Men'; not encroach on the rightly protected biological spaces of women.

I thought it was an interesting misunderstanding.

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 21:15

*Sorry, girls he grew up with who are women now.

R0wantrees · 26/06/2018 21:23

I thought it was an interesting misunderstanding.

I think its a common narrative.

MunchausensLovelyHorse · 26/06/2018 21:37

I know it's a common myth that feminists supposedly want to castrate men, but I guess I hadn't realised that it had morphed into an even more grotesque narrative whereby we allegedly demand that men prove they're women by chopping off their penis.

Batteriesallgone · 26/06/2018 22:22

The thing that most makes me uncomfortable about young girls in changing rooms with biological men, is the idea that the penis of some creepy random will be the first or one of the first penises they will see.

I can’t put my figure on why but I really dislike the idea of that. And the idea that the penis haver might get a kick out of it in an ‘unveiling the innocent’ sort of way makes me feel really sick. Even if nothing happens. It’s why flashing is a crime, surely?

The penis haver seeing my girl naked I’m less concerned about tbh. She likes being naked, children do. Obviously the idea of someone potentially creepy seeing my girl naked isn’t great but i don’t think the impact on her would be as great as being flashed. And ultimately what I’m most worried about is the impact on her, not creepy penis haver, not my feelings.

Anyway sorry, that’s just how I feel about the young girl question. It’s totally wrong for penis owners to be in there. I feel that’s obvious.

AngryAttackKittens · 26/06/2018 22:24

The first time a woman sees an adult penis it should be because she wants to, not because the owner of the penis wanted her to.
