Why do men think they can just piss anywhere?

We have a bus stop opposite our house, on a green. Today my DS and I were walking across the green and a bus pulled up, a man got off and as soon as the bus drove off he just stood there and had a wee as DS and I walked past!

Why do men think their need to piss is so important that they can just do it in public and we've all got to just put up with it?! He's not the first man that I've seen pissing in full view recently.

It makes me so cross!

It's socialisation though isn't it? Friend on FB has her husband eternally proudly posting photos (thankfully shots taken from behind at least, not "action" shots) of his kid "watering the plants" - there must be at least a couple of shots every fortnight of this ilk, coupled with a million #justlikehisdad #prouddaddy #makingmemories type hashtags with it. (It's not my friend posting these - her husband's a fucking dickhead and tags her in all of it so we all have to see it)

Mind you we had a guy shit in a takeaway carton and leave it in a taxi office here over the weekend so a piddle seems quite tame!

I also used to sleep rough and the number of people who used to pee and poop near me was just incredible. A guy peed on me once.

I second that about France. In terms of open air weeing we have it relatively good in this country.

Actually the spitting is a good point to make because it is a cultural thing. In china men and women spit equally which shows the weeing in public yhing is a controllable cultural thing rather than unavoidable nature.

Lifts and stairwells in carparks too. Vile stinking places where men seem to feel they are entitled to just piss between floors. I have had a lift stop and the occupant is just turning round zipping up again while I am waiting with my DS. Suffice to say we took the stairs, but they frequently reek of stale male urine too.

I was on an underground station when a woman dropped her jeans and urinated on the platform.

It's the downside to a spell of dry weather - the stench of piss in corners.

I used to live in a tenement on a main street with several bars. Clearly our door was considered a public urinal. It would pool under the door into the corridor. If someone didn't shut the door properly, they'd come inside for some privacy and piss up the wall.

Norther We had a French workman who regularly would walk along the upper corridor, downstairs, outside walk the length of the house again to go and pee by a nearby river.... He was working on shelving in the toilet /bathroom! Grin

Someone will be along in a minute to declare in an injured tone that not all men do this, and her husband and son/s certainly don't.

I found a massive shit outside the office I work in the other morning. I'm willing to bet it wasn't a woman who did that.

I watched a sketch show a while ago where a couple of women went into a town centre on a Friday night and got talking to men who had just come out of clubs and pubs and were pissing in the street. One of them makes out like she really needs to pee, and says to these guys “oh it’s so easy for you, you can just go wherever you want can’t you?” And the men puff out their chests and proudly agree that they can. She then hands her kebab to her mate, squats slightly, and just “pees”, right in front of them. The horrified look on the men’s faces was pretty amusing.
