Hopefully this is an issue we will all agree on.
I've noticed a few threads pointing out matters such as:
- The Green party calling men "men" and woman "nonmen"
- Cancer research referring to women as "people with a cervix" but to men as "men"
- toilets for "men" and "nonmen"
If anyone is interested, I thought it would be useful to log evidence of examples of this when they are detected. In that way it should become possible to see if there is sexism behind the language.
