Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

I've had an idea

Feminists have already proved that they want to be called men by showing up at a pool and in their own words (identifying as male)

Woman claim that other woman are men when they are not and call them offensive things

Men and anyone else should have the right to refer to you on MN as men without having such posts removes or without facing discipline

I will refer to you as male from now on, if this isn't allowed then it's discrimination and I will file a case of discrimination to MN

I've SO been looking for an excuse to post a link to Some Grey Bloke explaining the correct SEGREGATION of the penis beaker from the scrotal cleansing system. Unfortnately Gents, I'm afraid I will not post it today since it might upset the delicate sensiblities of MNHQ (bless 'emFlowers) and this post is too good to be removed. My friends call me testicle for short .But you're not my friend.

GenderApostate · 05/06/2018 15:05

Who gives a fuck? Non obsessed, non narcissists don’t care about being misgendered or what pronouns are used.

spontaneousgiventime · 05/06/2018 15:07

For years my pronoun was Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum.

SweetGrapes · 05/06/2018 15:13

Is it cake time yet? Still waiting for a fabulous banana and dark chcolate bread recipe. Cake

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 15:26

(You know that the OP went thatta way 👉👉👉)

Janie143 · 05/06/2018 16:15

Great stuff I've just been promoted to a role far greater than by experience or capabilities and received a massive pay rise 😁 It's great being a man

terryleather · 05/06/2018 16:26

Angry

I'm sorry the rock of my (East Coast) people had such a bad effect on your teeth.

Edinburgh rock should be soft and crumbly. I don't much like it tbh.

However proper pink minty Blackpool rock on the other hand is lush - I could sook on that all day long...

AngryAttackKittens · 05/06/2018 16:34

I wasn't a fan, terry. Mint would have improved things, it was just sort of sweet with no real flavor.

Now tablet on the other hand...

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 16:36

Tablet is the work of the devil (it certainly is making the stuff).

louiseaaa · 05/06/2018 16:43

So thanks to vrs threads that I've caught up on today I now have a bun in the oven and commencing banana chocolate muffins, (recipe available on hot cookin, tagline for the love of food :D It's a Nigella recipe, so I'm hoping that I get some action when the hubby gets home and sees me cooling my muffins out on the worktop. )

As you were

terryleather · 05/06/2018 16:57

Mmmmmmmmmm tablet!!!!!

But as AsAProfessional says it is the very devil to make, 15-20 minutes constant beating is not for the faint hearted!

This thread is making me hungry and it's too hot for sweet things - unless it's ice cream...

Kettlepotblackagain · 05/06/2018 16:58

Are we supposed to be 'blown away' by this?

AngryAttackKittens · 05/06/2018 17:01

My granny was brilliant at making tablet. My one attempt was such a failure that I've never tried again.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 17:04

Does anyone know what the coconut bar thing is called? It's usually pink and/or white and seems to be just pure coconut. That and cinder toffee mmmmmmm.

TimeLady · 05/06/2018 17:06

My mum was a great tablet maker too.

I like Edinburgh rock, esp. the ginger one. And that reminds me of another delicacy.... I haven't seen Duncan's Parisian Creams for years....can you still get them? Always on my Christmas list as a child.

auntycartmanslargertestacle · 05/06/2018 17:07

I'd never heard of tablet! Had to wiki it. Apparently as well as Scottish it is quite international.
Tablet is almost identical to Québécois sucre à la crème. It's also reportedly similar to South American tableta de leche. Another close relative can be found in the Netherlands called borstplaat, eaten during the time that Sinterklaas is celebrated. A similar sweet, often with nuts or raisins added, is known as kiri aluwa or "milk toffee" in Sri Lanka.[citation needed]

Bowlofbabelfish · 05/06/2018 17:08

Oh I missed this one earlier! Too late to lunch but I’m dinnering myself right in the face.

My pronouns are Dr, HRH and Empress of the Known Universe.

I identify as a small petunia called Mabel on wednesdays.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 05/06/2018 17:09

Tablet is easy to make, you must have been unlucky. Although I have a friend who makes it in the snow which I think is showing off!
Luckily for my teeth i dont like it but DH loves it & never feels a garage trip is complete without buying one off the counter.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 17:09

You forgot to add that - scientifically speaking of course - it is the sweetest thing on earth.

Bowlofbabelfish · 05/06/2018 17:09

Coconut ice fekko

Bloody gorgeous. Also a mild laxative.

SirVixofVixHall · 05/06/2018 17:09

I had “ can I help you sonny ? “ in shop once. ( I had very short hair) , it was most cheering as I was 30 at the time.

AngryAttackKittens · 05/06/2018 17:10

Also right now I'm eating chocolate mochi. No recipe, didn't make it, just adding to the pile of delicious things that are more fun to talk about than the OP's blather!

Waddlelikeapenguin · 05/06/2018 17:10

Oh & I would like to thank you magnificent women/men/artichokes for not reporting this thread Grin Halo

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 17:13

I want coconut ice now. I also used to love rock cakes (I think they were called that) - just piles of coconut with yummy squishiness in the centre.

Bowlofbabelfish · 05/06/2018 17:15

Macaroons.... drool. Coconutty goodness.

Dh and I honeymooned in a very naice place that had coconuts as a drink option. They appeared to be roughly 50% coconut water and the rest a mixture of rocket fuel, pure rum and sugar. ‘‘Twas fabulous. Although again, mild laxative effect from all the coconut...
