I need to apologize upfront - I am disabled and also looking after a baby so I'm not going to be able to check back on this thread as frequently as I'd like. I will be back tho.

I've just read this by sister outrider sisteroutrider.wordpress.com/2018/01/15/dispatches-from-the-margins-on-women-race-and-class/amp/?__twitter_impression=true . I know there have been other threads where black women (or other ethnicities) have said, racism is a massive problem and there's been a large, reflexive defensive reaction from white women here.

I'm too tired to articulate this properly now in support of what sister outrider has said, but I've definitely seen both racism and classism in action.

How do we set this right?

It was like the bad old days all over again for me when I found out that Russia was using the same old reliable MRA infiltration rat-fucking tactics on Facebook to tip the US election to Trump by depressing the Black vote, demonizing BLM, and depressing the women's vote. He only lost by 3 million votes, in exactly the right places for him to win the election.
They did the same thing in the UK with regard to Brexit, I understand. They will keep on doing it so long as it works.

I became aware of discussions/bragging on the manosphere about it approximately 7 years ago.

Also I have developed a bit of a nose for MRAs posing as BAME women, TIMs, 'happy hookers', radfems, etc. They do the lot to stir up antipathy and waste everyone's time. There's something about the 'voice' that doesn't ring true. They have improved now and plagiarise genuine people more effectively than in the past.

I remember there was a hashtag a while back that was hijacked.. I can't think of the actual words.

Its funny my brother said something very similar to me when I mentioned I'd been aware of bots and strange goings on with a Russian bent in the build up to the referendum (eg- someone I know who has zero interest in politics, especially international politics, but is a militant vegetarian had started posting pictures of Putin hugging deer on Facebook). About a week later, the Cambridge Analytica story broke and I feel entirely vindicated. I most definitely was not imagining it or being a tinfoil hatter!

There s a lot of hard evidence regarding Ukraine and the US. Speculation regarding how many countries are being affected.

The US government has also been interfering in foreign elections for at least sixty years. The electronic age makes it easier for them.
