Yes. TW are men, and some of the TW I’ve run into are the most stereotypical men. Lots of military/gun loving/law enforcement types in the mix. Always struck me as higher than the average

I've noticed on USA trans websites, the TIM's are all into welding, flying planes, hot rods etc. Stereotypical men's things. Now I would love to see women do these things, but they were also what they did when presenting as men. Some of the stuff I've read involves heavy lifting and a decent amount of muscle mass. They still do it with Oestrogen, yet claim to lose muscle mass when they want to take over women's sport.

The fixation this particular person has on Miranda is a wee bit creepy.

I’ve had that chat w British tg before though. The GRC is to blame as it cements stereotypes. I’ve had lengthy convos trying to explain that giving up won’t make you a woman - and why would you give it up if you enjoy it? The answer is always fear that the GRC won’t happen unless they comply fully with feminine stereotypes.
It’s a shit show all round. There is a small part of me that is in favour of the US recognizing that hobbies don’t delineate sex. But largely it’s an irrelevance, as changing sex is an impossibility.

Re Angels

Someone suggested that it would be a reasonable safeguard to ban people with a sex offence conviction from self ID to get a GRC. But obvs others disagreed:

Sex offences is far too broad an exclusion. You can end up on the sex offenders register for drunkenly slapping someone's backside. If an offender is a serious danger to the public then they need locking up in either prison or a secure mental hospital. In other cases it's just pandering to the TERFs.
