Hi Shon
Most of the women here are concerned about the sex protections in the Equality Act not being used, specifically the sex exemptions which are perfectly legal so long as transgender people are only disbarred so long as there is a legitimate aim and did barring the transgender person is a proportionate means of achieving that aim.
Women are entitled to discuss this. It’s difficult to do so clearly if we use non biological pronouns as everything gets confusing and makes it difficult to follow. In this instance we are talking about sex not gender.
Subjecting women to harassment, threats, name calling (TERF) and so forth is victimising them. Women deserve and have protection under the Equality Act to give them the ability to hold such debates. Silencing is is victimising us. Look it up Shon. You were a lawyer weren’t you?
I’m not bothered about your identity. That’s personal to you. I think you are quite a funny comedian and I think you get women most of the time. I’m pretty sure you know that sex and gender aren’t the same thing.
So don’t be party to bullying and victimisation.
We can work together here. Nobody wants a bun fight. We have really similar common interests I believe.
