Shit, I'm in the seventh circle of hell a soft play...

Anything interesting being said?

Mouthtrousersafrocknowandthen · 18/03/2018 11:14

Not yet got to the segment. They filmed Venice Allen outside the House of Commons on Wednesday.

dogendsaredogs · 18/03/2018 11:14

Oh dammit, I'm out! If someone could summarise once it's been on I'd be really, really, grateful.

rememberthetime · 18/03/2018 11:20

The segment was introduced as Labour putting off their decision on AWS and transwomen being allowed.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:20

I’m ready..

Bitchywaitress · 18/03/2018 11:20

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:21

On BBC1, according to Twitter it will be Venice Allen and Heather Peto.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:40

Why does nobody seem to get the ramifications of self Id?

A small group of women who don't believe in trans rights???

It's nothing to do with trans rights and everything to do with the erosion of women and our rights.Sad

SignoraStronza · 18/03/2018 11:41

Who is the male panellist? He seems rather thick and inarticulate.

rockshandy · 18/03/2018 11:41

Women should just shut up, quit moaning, trans people have it so hard.

FFS. Unbelievable.

rememberthetime · 18/03/2018 11:42

Yep. That whole segment missed the point. However it's good news that Labour have put off their statement . It shows the message has gotten through to them.

grafittiartist · 18/03/2018 11:43

Bigger picture completely missed.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:44

So frustrated.. the guy from The Spectator talked sense, what was his name?

rememberthetime · 18/03/2018 11:44

I believe he was or is a corbyn advisor or spokesperson.

rememberthetime · 18/03/2018 11:45

The panellist. Not the journalist.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:45

I also suspected that the woman from The Times got it but played it safe.

Elendon · 18/03/2018 11:45

Well the male member of the panel, presuming he identifies as male, suggested that those 200 women were not inclusive of trans rights, which is absolute bullshit.

The debate seemed to stem around AWS. I didn't see the male member of the panel, presuming he identifies as male, making a concrete case for AWS.

rockshandy · 18/03/2018 11:46

I think the guy from the Spectator is called James Kirkup. He has done some articles about self ID.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 18/03/2018 11:46

Corbyn's guy spoke about challengers with pure disdain dripping from his mouth.

whoputthecatout · 18/03/2018 11:48

Well that was a shit 'debate'. Spectacularly missing the entire point i.e. that the transexual 'movement' has been hijacked by a load of bepenised men wanting validation. What a total waste of time.

Elendon · 18/03/2018 11:55

I loved the selfie with all the women outside the houses of Parliament. That was brilliant!
