I think that if your going to have a job ie prison officer airport security police etc where pat downs/ searches are expected then you shouldnt be uncomfortable with having to possibly search a trans person or anyone else for that matter

I think the TRA have just never come across these people before. They simple refuse to admit that there are men willing do all sorts to abuse women and children.
In the past men have:
Run children’s homes
Joined the priest hood
Become teachers
Become aid workers
Become radio DJs.
Driven London black cabs.
To name a few.

As an aside. I was given a huge search when last I travelled to Ireland. It was more of a 'search' than I expected, hands down my trousers, hands over my breasts etc. and all in front of a waiting crowd as well. I tried to stay calm. However I felt really sorry for the much younger woman next up in line who said: I'm I going to be searched like that? She seemed distressed. I really had to go 'out of body' to get through it. Thankfully I wear a vest tucked into my knickers. This wasn't compromised.

Lily's identity is related to the new Labour 'family' they have joined. Its a confusion of trans ideology and momentum ideology. Throw in a bit of competitive 'i'm more committed / authentic than anyone else' and you are about there.

Put simply here is a vulnerable individual who is still trying to figure out the world and who they are and how that relates to the world.

I do think that Lily and TERFblocker were allies at one point. He went to a school local to me and caused a ruckus when he wanted to use the girls’ toilets - all he was doing was wearing a skirt to asset his “womanliness”. The school apologised for causing him distress . No thought for the poor girls having to share their space with him.
