It made me think of cuckoos. All the writing about emotional labour is the cuckoo laying the kind of egg that looks like the hosts egg, then the "you can support women by opening your wallet and giving ME cash" is the bit where the cuckoo chick hatches and pushes all the other eggs/chicks out of the nest. I’m constantly waiting for Muscato to announce that all of this has been a massive prank. That woman isn’t a feeing but clearly if you subscribe to the idea of lady-feels being the key to being a woman he (a chap who looks exactly like a chap and makes little or no effort to change his exterior) is the logical conclusion.
