Being called phobic and bigoted is so utterly debased now it's laughable. I can't take it seriously. I think as long I am not attacking anyone irresponsibly I am not acting badly. Robustly refuting things I know are incorrect is just fine, after all we get paid to spot mistakes and put them right at work, not to just go along with misguided plans.
I know I am not afraid of trans people so anyone calling me hateful or phobic is simply being lazy of thinking and experiencing an episode of group think.
I really don't believe it's as many people as you may think, the truth is most people haven't realised this yet (growing daily) and the growth in understanding will lead to more pushback.
The rights imbalance has slid in under the radar for many, we must calmly push it back to the right level. Change is like this, extreme single issue lobbyists shift things one way and it does spring back once the majority start reasserting the normal balance.
In a way the Stonewall monopoly on transgender rules for everyone - no debate - is very like Section 28. Silencing.
It is galling having to remind people why single sex segregation is important but that's not going to be a surprise to the vast majority of the population. Self ID wipes that out legally and I do not agree that we have to legally fight for every inch of privacy back, it's not going to happen that way, that's not really how legislation should work.
No. I do not consent. No is the whole sentence.
These silly cis women are the minority, they just don't realise it yet. Tell them to keep away with their modern day Section 28 silencing of women.
