Sorry if I've missed a thread on this, but I'm planning on going along and wondered if anyone else was? I haven't seen much written about it.

Thank you :)

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to so please march for me! Have you got something red to wear?

Yohoahoy · 07/03/2018 13:29

I had managed to miss the 'wear red' bit, so will certainly try and do so!

I want to go. Anyone know what the atmosphere could be like?

I want to take my daughter too.

Yohoahoy · 07/03/2018 14:49

Hi Sweet, I haven't read much at all about it in terms of atmosphere - all I've seen has largely just been factual details in terms of what it's about, supporters etc. It seems to be relatively low-key, if that's the right expression!

It's actually about women, I know that much.

EBearhug · 07/03/2018 16:08

Anyone know what the atmosphere could be like?

Should be fine - plenty of children last year.

I was intending to go. Not sure my knee will hold out currently.

Gileswithachainsaw · 07/03/2018 16:29

I have plans to go too. I'm bringing dd1 along

We don't have to buy tickets do we?

Yohoahoy · 07/03/2018 16:39

I wasn't sure about tickets - I've seen you can register on Eventbrite, but wasn't sure it was essential or not.

Just a bump ...

noraclavicle · 10/03/2018 00:24

Have been before - atmosphere was great

SweetGrapes · 10/03/2018 00:47

Actually, I may be able to make it... if I go to bed and get some sleep first though!

creaturefeatures · 10/03/2018 01:02

I'm going and have managed to encourage three other people to go with me Smile

My first ever march!

Gileswithachainsaw · 10/03/2018 07:53

I will maybe see you all there!! Smile

My first march too

ellaoldie · 10/03/2018 08:03

I'm intending to go.

qumquat · 10/03/2018 08:28

I'm torn between going and the fact this afternoon is my one chance to hoover and clean the flat this week... I'll be a bit late if I do go as I have work this morning. Really want to support it.

ChattyLion · 10/03/2018 08:39

Ooh looks brilliant!

ChattyLion · 10/03/2018 08:46

It says on the homepage about wearing red www.millionwomenrise.com

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 10/03/2018 09:37

I've been to three MWR marches and loved them.
I can't go this year but I've marched with children and it was totally fine.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 10/03/2018 17:11

I went and it was fantastic.

Gileswithachainsaw · 10/03/2018 17:17

Yes there were soooo many people. Was fab. Huge shout out to the young girl who gave it some welly with the microphone and the chants!! If her mum is reading this you should be really proud. Good for you!!
