Sorry that it's a DM article, but someone posted this on Twitter. His reasons are interesting, and pretty much what many people have said on these threads already.

Agerbilatemycardigan The amount of stories I've read where the men expect long term wives/partners to 'just accept this' is staggering. The 'my wife says she married a man and isn't a lesbian' line is in the majority of the stories yet it's the woman who is in the wrong when she won't accept her husband as her wife. Then, these men just trot off leaving devastated families in their wake so they can become woman. I have never seen a group of more selfish entitled human beings in my life.

Does anyone else think that the wife’s comment “ we’ve had many positive messages and my business is doing well” is a very strange comment to make about her husband transitioning to female and then transitioning back to male.

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 13:11

Nor me DaisyDrip

Speaking of which. LM's at it again the annoying little twerp.

If you like wearing cute clothes and insulting anybody that doesn't agree with you on Twitter, then it's just the job for

What if you only like pink hoodie's?

OvaHere · 16/02/2018 13:14

It's his wife that is selling the book. It did make me wonder if that is an angle here and the whole thing is a bit of a stunt.

Backenette · 16/02/2018 13:15

Jim is gender fluid and doesn't particularly relate to either gender at the moment, he is just himself.

Lord above. You mean LIKE MOST PEOPLE FEEL MOST OF THE TIME??

One thing that pisses me off so much about this is that it’s reinforcing all the gender crap. Pink fluffy shit =woman. Can we not just accept that women, and men, don’t always conform to what society wants them to do in their gender roles? And say that if that’s the case then perhaps the problem is those gender roles are a bit narrow and a bit shit, not that people are ‘the wrong sex.’

Bloomed · 16/02/2018 13:15

It seemed a very roundabout way of going from being known as James to Jim! Very odd.

DaisyDrip · 16/02/2018 13:15

Agerbilatemycardigan L Madigan is a disgrace, rarely if ever is there a tweet about woman's issues it's all trans. How a 19 year old male can be elected woman's officer is beyond me. A 19 year old female would have little life experience but a man! Really?

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 13:16

Definite red flag Grin

Um. I suppose he means all the women are cis rather than all ciswomen as I've never actually seen any all women panels.

Suppose the one woman could be trans for inclusiveness sake Hmm

I think the men who have children and then transition are interesting. Who impregnates, and witnesses their partner go through pregnancy and childbirth, then decide that they too are women? I can see a teenager or a gay man not understand the female reproduction, but a father?

OvaHere · 16/02/2018 13:17

LM is such an obvious MRA. Hat's off to them in one respect they've found the perfect ruse to knock women and attempts at positive discrimination right back into their box by infiltrating our language.

I think these are largely the AGPs, they do understand but they don't give a shit because it's fetish driven.

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 13:21

BigDeskBob I remember seeing an interview with a transwoman a few years ago, and something they said stuck with me. They said that watching their wife go through pregnancy and childbirth made him jealous.

He knew that was something that he would never be able to do. He'd also resented the attention she got as a pregnant woman and a new mother. At least he was honest about it, but still..

LM couldn't be any more of an MRA if he tried. He's got definite mother issues, like many of them seem to have.

Oh god.

Oh god I agree with daily mail comments. Usually we're at polar opposites.

The world has gone mad.

Exactly what I thought zodsfox Grin

I want to hear what their kids have to say in ten years.

The whole Kardashian Jenner situation highlighted how awful this is for the wife and I think most of his stepkids aren't talking to him. But Kris his ex wife was given a hard time by some people for 'not supporting him'. His own daughter said that she saw him dressed up when she was young and it confused her and she knew it was a secret. Family secrets are usually unhealthy .

In this situation she says the kids are fine because kids are not prejudiced, but it's not about that. I'm not an expert on child development but I know that one of the first things a child learns about identity is the difference between male and female. I have a memory as a baby, I couldn't have been more than 18 months and I checked it out with my dad and he confirmed the facts and was amazed I remembered, I remember thinking clearly SHE and HE about my mum and dad.

If you ask and adult or a teenager to describe themselves to an alien they will usually start with their sex. I know it must be very hard for those with gender identity issues, but the way this is being actively promoted and common sense has been shit down, I just think we are heading for a lot of big problems as a society some time soon, and that's without the men in female spaces issue.

TitaniasCloset · 16/02/2018 14:11

Shit down? Shut down! And by she I mean the wife in this case sorry.

PancakeInMaBelly · 16/02/2018 14:13

It must be hard for men and boys who have a genuine kink being told now by "their" community that theyre a transphobic myth.

I hope more of them speak up!

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 14:18

The comments from women that support the trans delusion used to make me angry, but now just make me sad.

They don't seem to realise that they're supporting their own erasure.

As for any children caught up in all this mess, they'll be the ones that suffer the most.

PancakeInMaBelly · 16/02/2018 14:27

Its so scary for children. Its awful that girls cant reject dresses and boys cant dress up as princesses without stupid adults changing their fucking name!!

Agerbilatemycardigan · 16/02/2018 14:32

My 11 year old granddaughter told me the other day, that some of the kids at her school are seeing it as just a trend and are asking to be called by names of the opposite sex. They also want to dress in clothes they see as appropriate to their new name. This, like other fashions, will die out and for most kids no damage will have been done.

Unfortunately, it's already too late for some.
