A really important case. This shows that teachers are failing to safeguard children if they can't raise questions about grooming and drug use in children below the age of consent. It demonstrates the extent to which TA pressure groups are stopping adults in schools from carrying out their safeguarding responsibilities - and that must concern everyone.
I really wish he had said something like this in his statement. Or just used the word safeguarding.

Guardian do you think this teacher is going to make another statement? Would it be worth contacting him to give him some bullet points about safeguarding and how it is now actively being undermined?
