Women's Aid needs your old mobile phones!

Do you have any old mobile phone handsets you don't need? Women's Aid on Twitter are asking you to send them to them to help domestic abuse victims, so I thought I'd repost here.Police must ensure all victims have means of calling 999 if their phones are seized as evidence. But they can be left without a phone and no means of calling for help as in this tragic case below:

I dont have a phone but have an old charger, do you think they'd like that? I could label it with the type of phone it fits.

Also I think if you are posting a phone with a battery you need to declare it at the Post Office Counter and it gets a special label;

Dont forget, because if they find it without the label they can destroy it.
