Your relentless attempts to do injustice will fail. You are on the wrong side of history. Your children will grow up knowing better than you. You cannot stop progress. Your efforts are in vain.

And every time I'm proven right - every time a court judgment goes against you and every time a law protecting trans men and women is passed and every time equality is further enshrined in the laws of this country I am going to return to this thread for the pure and petty purpose of telling you I TOLD YOU SO.

I'm a feminist and love the FWR board but I am sometimes wary of posting as I am not "a lefty", don't even vote Labour and feel like I would stick out like a sore thumb on many threads, even though I am not right wing - just mildly soft centre re most issues. I would hazard a guess that the majority of posters on here are Labour leaning unless we have the silent Tories lurking....

But you have emboldened me to ask my lefty friends on here if it is OK for me to donate as I am not Labour. I want to donate as it is sad to see a once great political movement taken over by whack jobs who have clearly never even passed their GCSE in biology.

When people say wrong side of history, I just think "you've not read much history, have you?". History is written by the winners. The winners quite often aren't the good guys...it's a fatuous thing to say.

Quite apart from the wit and logic deployed (I don't mean by you, lyra, sit down) and the post by donkey which is brilliant, the paucity of thought and the petty viciousness of the OP so clearly demonstrates the reaction by trans activists to women standing up for ourselves.

It's a masterclass and it really ought to be left to stand.

That's one of the benefits of being older. You've normally got more cash to chuck about than the young do.

It reminds me of that scene in Fried Green Tomatoes when Kathy Bates gets frustrated and repeatedly rams the car which stole her parking space.
