This is what it has come to. A women thrown out of a women's network party because of a man, or more accurately, a boy's feelings might be hurt. What the fuck is going on?

Why do we still have not have a Labour woman leader?

We'll have a trans leader before we have a born woman leader Sad

WTAFisthisshit · 13/12/2017 13:59

TM asked Labour why they'd never had a FEMALE leader on PMQ's today. She nearly said woman but corrected herself to female! Think she's TERF Grin sanity will prevail.

Terrylene · 13/12/2017 13:59

They will be kicked to the kerb by the MRAs. They are not threat to them or their rights or existence.

Terrylene · 13/12/2017 14:02

Unless they can use them to get what they want like the lesbians in LGB, and the Lilys of this world.

WTAFisthisshit · 13/12/2017 14:09

Tbf, I laughed, a lot. Then again I am a (young) man and such humor does appeal to me. (Which could potentially hint at who created it).

Perhaps that is the way to go then? Unilad are certainly doing their bit to peaktrans the younger generation. They were no more impressed by the NZ weightlifter than they were the 'mentally ill woman with beard'.

South Park were also taking pot shots the other day, though more from a generation snowflake POV than woman's rights.

SpartonDregs · 13/12/2017 14:11

It is truly horrifying that the ones that seem to be on the side of sanity are the right wingers. FML. :(

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 13/12/2017 14:24

Is that true Terry that more girls than boys are transitioning?

Bit as far as I am aware this is just children - does anyone have the figures on adult transitioning?

BeyondAssignation · 13/12/2017 15:19

I don't have the figures, but I can't think of many examples of women marrying, having kids and then deciding in middle age that they were men all along.
The only ones I can think of, all have transpeople somewhere else in their life - pointing towards that social contagion again...

Fekko · 13/12/2017 16:16

Just a bit of light relief. she even hisses at dogs and can see better at night. I give you - woman who says she is a cat...

Just browsing Lily’s tweets today. He first tweeted that he had no problem with Venice until someone pointed out that meme and comment. He then posted that he didn’t ask for removal but felt uncomfortable due to Venice’s attacks on him.

So unless someone showed lily those things during the event, that is a contradiction.

I don’t believe anything that manipulative brat says.

DeleteOrDecay · 13/12/2017 16:33

Does she hunt mice and bring them back for her slave owner? I've often joked that I'd like to be a catGrin I would never act on it though, it's just a joke based on how easy Cats lives appear to be.

Fekko · 13/12/2017 16:34

I worked with a woman who sought this much attention. God it was exhausting (sitting on my hands desperately trying not to throttle her).

She was on her 30s and yes, the world did revolve around her. If she didn't get enough attention she would go awol for a couple of days and appear on the office with a elaborate story of some tragedy or disaster. Our boss humoured her for some unknown reason (I reckon she had some dirt on her - or knew that she was having the affair with an intern).

Thisisouting · 13/12/2017 16:36

I tried to create a campaign through the Facebook group that was focused on the facts but as I said in my previous post the idea that we should fight a campaign to appeal to the masses was shouted down and I ended up leaving the group for my own mental health.
I was willing to be doxxed for holding gender critical views but not for memes like the one posted.

I find it all very disheartening at the moment.

WTAFisthisshit · 13/12/2017 16:38

I'm sorry to hear that thisisouting I never joined any of the FB groups for that reason Flowers

I expect it is hard to join a facebook group that does something positive with a high moral tone, seeing as you can't find one openly. It is all a bit 'allo 'allo.

It would be so much better if you could openly join a group and have meetings to discuss what you want to do, with out all the cloak and dagger stuff, being stalked, and without your venue pulling out at the last minute because they have been inundated with anonymous telephone calls.

Thehairthebod · 13/12/2017 16:46

I don't know if people are just being a bit thick and not reading the post properly and just seeing 'dickhead' and 'suicide' and not realising that Allen was saying that Madigan shouldn't be targeted on social media with these sorts of memes.

I am not sure I what world what she wrote is 'violent hate speech' though?

Terrylene · 13/12/2017 16:49

There has been a hell of a lot of stalking material plastered all over twitter about Venice with instructions to contact her employer etc. over the last few days. I have never seen that about anyone else. There are also lists to block and stalk available of 'terfs'.

There are plenty of photos of that party on the internet with people in the background. I expect everyone asked permission, or do you have to be on the 'right side' for this sort of stuff.

pisacake · 13/12/2017 16:49

"borderline death threats,"

bollocks.

Datun · 13/12/2017 16:49

Screencaps on Twitter of her abusive and harassing comments, borderline death threats,

Can you bring to those, please?

Terrylene · 13/12/2017 16:51

I can't see any 'attack' either. Like you say, she was calming the waters and telling them to go elsewhere. It is Lily's friends who have plastered it all over twitter, and now the papers.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 13/12/2017 16:57

Borderline death threats?
That's a serious accusation, Bananasaregood. I am sure you are ready to back it up with evidence. Right?

Thehairthebod · 13/12/2017 16:58

Screencaps on Twitter of her abusive and harassing comments, borderline death threats,

What kind of stuff was she saying?

VivaLeBeaver · 13/12/2017 17:05

You lose the moral high ground when you call people dickheads, etc.

If I called a colleague a dickhead in a secret fb group and someone screenshot it and dobbed me in at work I’d be on very thin ice and possibly facing a disciplinary. Whether or not I’d be welcome at the xmas party would be the least of my concerns.
