Just been sent a Xmas hamper from Fortnum & Mason by a work contact. Now, I'm really not ungrateful - it's full of lovely things - but why do they always include tea & coffee? It's not like most people don't already have that at home ...

There isn't. And Fortnums do some lovely tea- we are not talking PG Tips.

DH wanted to open the bottle of wine immediately but i said no as it's probably too nice to guzzle between the 2 of us on an ordinary Friday night in.

I'll have them. I only use loose leaf tea- sometimes bought from Fortnums.

Actually the tins are really pretty so I can reuse those.

Isn't the theory that loose leaf makes a better cup of tea? Not sure why though.
