So I've taken the beer towels off the pumps, tapped a new barrel, polished the glasses, fed the goat and applied brasso to the patriarchy busting canon.

Yeah it's pretty much okay now, ta :) My parents have stepped up and taken some of the load off DH (who was frazzled) - each week my mum is taking me out and for lunch for one day so he gets some time alone, and then having the DCs for one night so we get some couple time.
So far so good...

She looks at the camera, slurs "fucking snow" and then curls up in the big purple chair for another sleep. The barmates are still sitting around the Christmas table.

I'm trying to contact estate agents and even they are closed. I was hoping now would be a good time to chat to them in a less specific kind of way (don't know yet if moving or not). Ugh, blooming Xmas.

Quentin, you're not even slightly annoying (unlike me sometimes, who has great trouble not rising to trolls) luckily I namechange a lot so people might not notice :D

I've had the weird experience of living in a country where the have orthodox Christmas (I've also lived in muslim countries, but TBH, they celebrated Christmas bigger than the UK! - at least in public places, and we all had Christmas off - admittedly working for companies with majority european leadership) - so Christmas was a normal working day (had a call from the lawyers about our residency whilst I was pudding the roasties in!) - Looking forward to seeing what happens at Orthodox Christmas at the beginning of January.

I bought the Edinburgh Gin raspberry version after Lass posted about the rhubarb and something one. I just want to say it is lovely. Although I am drinking coffee at the moment.

goodness, Xmas gets longer every year.
