Men were asked what would put them off. A criminal record, an ASBO or their employer being told was the answer. Finding out the woman was pimped or coerced apparently not so much.
Not sure how that squares with the full decriminalisation model.

A friend of mine used to work as an escort for a number of years after she left uni. She made good money and put on this front that she loved the job and the freedom it gave her etc. She eventually admitted how much she hated it and was completely burnt out from having to lead a double life and pretend like she was loving every second of it with her clients. I haven’t seen her for a while as she moved abroad and had a mental breakdown.
I remember her telling me that 99% of her clients were married men and did it because they were either not getting enough sex at home, bored of having sex with one person or just wanted to have sex with younger more attractive women than their wives. Sickening stuff!
