Hey weasal might have a few difficulties if you dislike talking about it

If that article or blog or whatever it is was even vaguely true it would be all over the papers, twitter and other forums

And marble said it well, she had sex two weeks after the hotel with one person and she had sex a few days before with another

The two males involved in the hotel were not threatened she didn't have a modus operandi

Where did you find that 'article'

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 15/10/2016 21:08

I am so slow at typing

Honestly

Its a curse

Xenophile · 15/10/2016 21:12

There was a rumour at one point, spread by one of Evans' apologists, that she had "cried rape" before. This wasn't true. Not even the defence brought that lie out of the hat.

I think perhaps the blog you've read might not be the most balanced portrayal of the case and has only the most passing relationship with facts, sorry Weasel.

Weasel113 · 15/10/2016 21:31

I have a feeling you guys might be right.....I will drop out of the discussion. I still don't understand what the new evidence actually is.

Marbleheadjohnson · 15/10/2016 21:35

It's was two men coming up and saying when they had sex with her, she's used the same phrase that ched claimed she used, and that she could not remember the events the following day. After all these elements had been published since the firat trial, and after offers of £50,000 rewards were being bandied about.

Isitadoubleentendre · 15/10/2016 21:37

The new evidence was that she had had sex before and allegedly said 'fuck me Harder'.

One of the guys, when asked why he had come forward, said 'because i think she is lying'. What brought him to this conclusion is unclear 50 grand

Coffeechocolatecake · 15/10/2016 21:49

Yes I've often said it, I enjoy hard rough sex sometimes with DH.

JenLindleyShitMom · 15/10/2016 21:51

Yes I have with several different partners.

Xenophile · 15/10/2016 21:52

Please don't feel you have to drop out, Weasel, you're point was fair, given what you'd read Smile

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 15/10/2016 21:52

No stay weasel

or lurk at least...i am always lurking Smile

Lurking....always lurking

JanetStWalker · 15/10/2016 21:53

Yes.

Shouldn't I have done?

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 15/10/2016 21:55

(OP)

Weasel, another difference is the non-inclusion of McDonalds testimony that he told them on reception that they "needed to keep an eye on the girl in room x as she was sick" whilst Evans was still there.

Why, I have no idea.

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 15/10/2016 21:56

But you (and I get the impression you do care about the truth behind the media) won't be able to learn more from the thread if you go, so please stay :)

birdsdestiny · 15/10/2016 22:01

I never thought in a hundred years that I would be grateful for a Sun headline. Does anyone have any theories why they have done this?

BeyondReasonablyDoubts · 15/10/2016 22:02

Aliens?

JenLindleyShitMom · 15/10/2016 22:05

Do you know I've been lurking around Facebook today and the misinformation that is out there and being spread about this case as fact is just shocking. People are talking all sorts of shit that never happened and not bothering to read beyond headlines and comments underneath. It's frightening tbh. If anyone was ever in any doubt, should you ever be in a similar situation, you will not be believed, lies will be spread about you, death threats will be made towards you, extreme violence and further rape will be threatened towards you. Your story will never be heard. And there is nothing at all you can do about it. Don't believe me? Go on any newspaper website today. I've had a man calling me vile names and wishing me a painful death in my own inbox because I commented under an article about this case.

Marbleheadjohnson · 15/10/2016 22:05

Their current editor says some terribly non-Sun things on his Twitter (he tweeted in defence of History of Art A level Shock). Maybe they feel strongly that this is a bad time for rape victims. Maybe they're trying to sell more papers.

The Mail nailed its colours to the mast in pursuit of justice for the Stephen Lawrence case . Maybe there are some morals in the tabloid world after all.

GiveMeRitz · 15/10/2016 22:06

Hi weasel I'm going to take you at face value.

These are some of the facts in the public domain.

The woman in question went to a hotel room with Clay Mc Donald

Several hotel employees have commented she seem out of it

She &a Clay started having sex.

At some point Clay text Ched and said I've got a bird

Ched was in a cab on the way home, got the text, asked the cab to turn around, bought the room key, entered a 'in his words' a total dark room and penetrated a woman that he never spoke to.

At some point Clay left asking reception to keep an eye on nknow woman as she was 'ill'

After a few/several minutes of penetrating this unknown woman he suddenly remembered he had a girlfriend so understandably climbed out the window and left via the fire escape. Please bear in mind some if not all of this was being watched filmed by his brother & friends.

Unknown woman reports missing handbag to police.

Police (&seriously the coppers in this were stars) investigate, bring in Clay & Ched for questioning.

Ched damns himself in his own statement.

THE POLICE CHARGE HIM WITH RAPE THE CPS BRING IT TO COURT.

Unknown woman has nothing to do with this. She has never accused him of rape, all she has said she does remember anything.

Unknown woman is horribly stalked & harassed.

Ched is convicted

Ched & co continue to harass unknow woman and fling money around.

Finally after several attempts he is allowed to appeal on the basis that
1
She wasn't a virgin
2
She'd said something during sex that mutiple men & women have said (and possibly saying right now)

3
She had sex again after the incident. There's a thread else where where many of us have stated following a sexual assault we proactively initicated sex for various reasons.

If you are sincere and can't get your head around this, don't worry it's not you.

It's them!

LauraMipsum · 15/10/2016 22:08

Weasel you can read the full Court of Appeal decision here: www.crimeline.info/case/r-v-ched-evans-chedwyn-evans-1

I have to say I am 100% with the prosecution counsel that generic sexual behaviour cannot possibly count as so similar that it CANNOT be coincidence, but sadly the Court of Appeal disagreed.

In answer to the question in the OP - yes, and I say that as a lesbian who hasn't had sex with a man for fifteen years. I was barely out of my teens at the time and thought it was the "right" thing to say in bed.

HillaryFTW · 15/10/2016 22:27

The mirror had an opinion piece on why the use of sexual history was dreadful today. Tabloids not all bad...

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 16/10/2016 01:57

The 3 tabloids have been quicker off the mark than the Guardian. I can't find anything as strong as what they said.

Xenophile · 16/10/2016 07:31

The Times today has an interview with the vile Ched and his girlfriend. Murdoch must be hedging his bets.

SomeonesRealName · 16/10/2016 08:55

Yes and I suspect young women who have grown up with extreme porn culture are more likely to say it. Having presumably slept with quite a few young women, Ched would probably recognise that it is a bit of a stock phrase.
