I'm starting to hate men

I posted this on relationships but didn't get any response:

I've noticed recently that I've become more and more anti men - I think since having my first child. So many factors that I could mention and probably many deep rooted issues contributing to this but the long and short of it is why do women have to suffer and sacrifice at every turn?!

I don't really want to feel like this. I have a son who I want to bring up/am bringing up to be a feminist but I'm worried about how my hateful feelings towards men are going to rub off on my dc.

I suppose I am asking if there is a way I can combat these feelings and start to feel more positively towards them.

What a hateful thread

The male gender role and the female gender role have changed with greatly reduced compatibility being the result. Go with the flow, accept it. Since you cannot alter current "social norms" all by yourself, forget the opposite gender and find "substitutes."

• Work
• religious affiliation
• nice pets
• etc.

Most are out there 'banging their head against the wall' - they fail to recognize the root cause. The change in gender roles drove a massive wedge between the genders

Some claim this was by design to counter the 'population explosion' but I'm not so sure.

Anyway, you CAN'T FIGHT CITY HALL. And you CAN'T CHANGE OUR PRESENT 'SOCIAL NORMS' so substitute relations (beyond sex I mean) with the opposite gender with something more fun.

To drive the point home:

• many, many women think men suck (feminism plays a role in that)
• many men thing women suck (because of the perception that women have come to dislike men)

NEITHER GENDER LIKES THE OTHER GENDER - this is very common today. Sure, there is a 'tolerance' but usually to get a sex life, nothing more, no relationships.

ACCEPT IT, the opposite-gender-dislike is HERE TO STAY for quite a while it feels like.

I would guess a matria4chal society it wouldn’t be war based as the patriarchal society is because women couldn’t win...men are physically stronger and would inevitably take over /dominate

As we get war being more intelligence based, that might be less true but I suspect that our biologcal selves don’t adapt that quickly

You can't change male nature. Men are more aggressive than women, 1 in 5 men rape. We need to be extra cautious, and even though it's nice to have a husband/partner. I would rather be alone and safe than put myself around men. Especially in this day and age where women can be solely independent. We don't need men, we want them by nature.
