Does this mean I can change my nationality from Scottish if they achieve independence? I've never really identified as Scottish anyway.....

Some people actually have a non-binary sex rather than gender: intersex conditions (eg XXY orXXXY chromosomes) aren't that uncommon, and there's an important argument that these people need recognition, even removing the trans aspect altogether.

If it was possible to change one's gender to non-binary, I would probably do so, and then look if I have more success. (Since my job doesn't require me to see employers in person very often, I miiiight be able to get paid like a man for a while)

Yeah, people with intersex conditions need recognition of their biological sex, just like everyone else.

However, the transnonsense eradicates all protections for women. Men would be able to not only rape other men in prison (as they already do) but also women.
Women would not be safe in hospitals, et cetera. Women at their most vulnerable would be housed with males.

I'm going to become non binary as soon as possible and leave all that female-brain/feminine/liking pink shit far far behind. I expect i will still be duscriminated against but i should have better legal protection as anti trans is a hate crime

Obviously it will depend how i feel from day to day. Some days i might feel male (pay day hopefully) others, female (skirt day)

Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP will say anything if they think it will get them more votes. This nonsense will no doubt gain them LGBT votes but will surely lose them votes from religious groups such as Muslims and Catholics?

As someone who repeatedly says she stands up for women, Nicola surely hasn't thought the implications of her latest announcement through. I urge Every woman in Scotland who doesn't want to see women with penises in what should be safe spaces for women to write to Nicola and point out that women will be disadvantaged by this policy.

I already thought I need to write to Sturgeon and my MSP if this is right. And women's groups etc.
What is the most credible opposition party in Scotland at the moment? Because this alone would make me not vote SNP. I get the intersex issue, but this sounds like it has been made up on the spot.

Frankly, yes i am sort of taking the piss, but if the world is giving up on biological markers and moving onto gender, then i blatantly do not fit in the 'woman' category as i dont wear make up, hate pink, rarely wear dresses, am quite assertive/aggressive. Yet i am not a man either. So i'm going non binary. I expect my own toilet facilities.

Ooh yes, Scotland could spend some of the extra trillions it has in the bank forcing every public and private institution to provide gender neutral facilities in every building, in fact why stop with public buildings? Best to pass a law making it compulsory for all private homes to have special facilities for each of non binary, trans women and trans men

Hirples what I meant is they are trying to gain votes to boost their majority so will say anything to try and gain the extra voters they need to try and secure a second indyref. I don't believe their majority will be as big this time as it was the last - they have divided Scotland too much.

I've had a quick look at the survey and tbh a lot of the answers contradict other answers. 42% of people thought their stand of living went down yet they trust the govt? 48% of people thought the NHS was suffering because of decisions made by the uk govt. yet NHS Scotland is run by the Scottish govt? Hmm...

According to that Everyday Feminism piece I'm gender fluid I think. Today I'm wearing jeans, unisex desert boots, a jumper from the menswear department of M&S and no make-up. On Sunday I'll probably wear a frock and some mascara. Hmmmm....

I think the SNPs facade is starting to slip. A LOT of people not happy about the named person stuff and the pre-referendum white paper has recently been exposed as a delusional piece of work. I'm sure my fellow scots will come to their senses soon and vote the pillocks out.
