In other news, I see that soi-disant arch troll Milo Yanno-thingy has been banned from Twitter. I don't twit myself, but I'm assuming this is good news for womankind?

I think the cannon would need tethering to the tree house. Otherwise it might fall out when fired (I reckon the recoil would be quite violent). Perhaps it is safer to leave it in the pub...

KindDT That's interesting. I worry that DS, as a summer born boy, may not be held to the same standards of empathy and communication skills as his female classmates. We'll have to see how that goes when he starts school in Sept.

Settles in away from tree house edges. I saw Ghostbusters last night. I really enjoyed it. Much better than the original though I would have liked a bit less spectacle.

So is Ghostbuster good for a 10yo?

Going by how I remember myself at 10, I would think so. There's no gore, just green slime and some cartoonily scary ghosts. I didn't see it in 3D though so the ghosts might be scarier then. Of course, I don't know your 10 yo so YMMV.
