I miss reading her posts and I've just seen on another thread that she deregged.

I name change a lot and lurk more than I post on the feminist boards so buffy won't 'know' me but i miss her! (In a non-stalker way). If anyone speaks to her tell her to come back because some random on the internet said so!

Do you think it was ok for him to say those things purdiepie? Do you think James Watson shouldn't have lost his job for saying this?

Ohh no so it's true. I was hoping she had just gone on holiday. Well it is sad, but understandable. It pisses me off that intelligent women are being silenced though. I hope all of you don't disappear.

While I'm here I'd like to say to all the regular feminist posters that though you may be getting trolled and horrible messages from some people, others (like me) are really grateful for your words.

These boards have truly opened my eyes to what feminism can mean and helped me understand things I didn't realise that I didn't understand. You've made me see that I'm not alone in my thoughts on sexism and feel like change really can happen. On the whole I come away from these boards feeling quite positive and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Sorry for the ramble.

Buffy is one of my fave posters - love her wit, patience, understanding and endless knowledge on things I'm mostly clueless about. Hope she is happier not posting but this place loses out as a result.

Mean spirited is a very good way to describe misogynists. I hope Buffy does come back, but it is entirely understandable that she wants to keep away from these horrific people and keep them out of her life.

I really appreciated Buffy's posts, always so intelligent and knowledgeable.
Trolls and morons pick on feminists like her because they can't compete intellectually.
I hope she enjoys her break and then feels able to return.
