I miss reading her posts and I've just seen on another thread that she deregged.

I name change a lot and lurk more than I post on the feminist boards so buffy won't 'know' me but i miss her! (In a non-stalker way). If anyone speaks to her tell her to come back because some random on the internet said so!

She got fed up with the trolly types following her around demanding answers. She seems happier without MN.

That is a massive pity. She is so smart and explains everything in a way even thickos like me can follow and grasp. I have learned so much from Buffy. I am sick of stupid sexist men trying to silence women who are a hundred times more worthwhile than they will ever be.

Me too - such a shame, but I can totally see why she would want to do that. She's a great loss.

A lot of the old regulars have stopped posting or pretty much stopped. Sick to death of being told what bastards we all are. And being trolled by regs from elsewhere on the site who then whine about FWR regs being mean. It's dull and life's too short.

I feel very sad that so many MN feminists have been chased off here. V sad indeed. When I joined MN, there were some fantastic feminists, and so many have gone now. In fact the whole site had a really feminist ethos when I joined - now, not so much.

Such a shame, I don't very often post on here anymore but I still enjoy coming on a reading and her posts are always excellent.

I wondered what had happened - was hoping she was just having a break. A sad loss for mn. She was so patient, and she came across as brilliantly clever, scrupulously honest and fair-minded, and kind-hearted on top. And she was so generous about and competent at explaining ideas and concepts for those of us who are less than well-read (and in my case less than brilliant).

I'm glad she seems happier away but selfishly hoping she comes back in disguise but fucking angry (with the trolls, that is) she has been hounded away.

I understand that Buffy needed to do what is best for her, but it is a great lost to FWR. I hope that at some point she will come back.
