But I want to know how the nordic model can be enforced. 1 How can the cops catch the clients and 2 if the cops do catch a client how can they get a conviction if the sexworker isn't willing to testify against him?

So when they have tracked down where an escort is working they spend hours watching the building and every man who goes in becomes a suspected buyer.

I guess crime must be really low in Sweden if they can afford to use such massive amounts of police time and resources trying to hunt down consenting adults who engage in consensual sex. One would think the police had nothing better to do.

If I wanted to know how the police catch criminals, I'd ask a cop who catches criminals, not an academic researcher. However, if I wanted some dissembling, punter-excusing, pseudo-libertarian nonsense to allow me to close my eyes to reality, I would find a pimp-lobby academic.
