Feminist-type women have sex?? With men???

Anyway you do whatever the hell you want to do, but what is it to you what other consenting adults do? Just because you find something immoral isn't reason to attempt to ban other people from doing something.

If we banned things some people found immoral then we would live in a dictatorship like country where practically everything was illegal. Is that what you would like? A country like China or N. Korea?

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/04/2014 22:54

Ooh calling us dictators - can I call Godwins? You lose, tukapov.

I'd like a society that treats women as human, please.

tukapov · 16/04/2014 22:57

No I'm not calling you dictators. I'm asking if you would prefer to live in a dictator-like country where prostitution (along with a huge list of other "immoral" things) was illegal.

tukapov · 16/04/2014 22:59

Prostitution is illegal in China, perhaps you might want to go live there? I don't think China are too hot on women's rights but hey, prostitution is illegal.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/04/2014 22:59

Is Sweden a dictatorship?

FloraFox · 16/04/2014 23:02

Ahahahaha tukapov thinks feminists are lesbians.

Your posts are idiotic. We ban lots of things that are immoral. Like murder for example. Lots of things are illegal because they are immoral.

Is Sweden a dictatorship? Or France where buying sex will soon become illegal?

LineRunner · 16/04/2014 23:02

I would certainly like to live in a country where you don't make the rules, tukapov.

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:06

"Is Sweden a dictatorship?"

Isn't that the country which, until recently, had forced sterilization for disabled and trans-gendered people?

The country where sexworkers are made homeless, deported, have their kids taken off them, charged with "running a brothel" if 2 or more work together.

The country where it's illegal to give free condoms to either sexworkers or clients, and illegal to give any sort of health and safety advice to sexworkers (which means websites like SAAFE would be illegal in Sweden).

While it may not be as bad as N. Korea, I can see why a lot of sexworkers would prefer New Zealand's system (ie decriminalisation)

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:08

"Or France where buying sex will soon become illegal?"

It's not certain. Despite some online articles falsely stating it is now law in France, the bill still has to go through the French senate, who might reject it or keep it stalled indefinitely.

"Like murder for example. "

There is never consent in murder. It cannot be compared to sexwork.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/04/2014 23:09

Sorry tuka - are you actually following a line of argument that Sweden is a dictatorship?

Oh dear. Where were you when the brains were being handed out?

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:12

Actually, forced steralization for anyone disabled or trans-gendered does sound like something a dictator-like country would have.

migsymoo · 16/04/2014 23:12

Tuka, if you really want to stand up for sexworkers please stop with the feminist bashing. It's not cool and devalues your argument.

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:13

This was done until as recent as 2012.

New Zealand has a perfect human rights record, does it?

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:15

Well the things I said on my 23:06:52 post about sexworkers in Sweden doesn't apply to NZ. Because they have decriminalization.

FloraFox · 16/04/2014 23:15

Sweden "not as bad as North Korea". Get a grip.

CaptChaos · 16/04/2014 23:16

For now.

LineRunner · 16/04/2014 23:19

Oh dear, tukapov, very poor arguing skills there.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/04/2014 23:21

How ironic that Amnesty have actually pulled NZ up on it's human rights record this year.

CaptChaos · 16/04/2014 23:24

I missed this gem from earlier.

But she expects the man to pay for her dinner/drinks beforehand. And if the man isn't willing to get his wallet out then she finds another man to pay for her drinks. Right?

The woman wants to have sex. But she doesn't want sex with a man who isn't going to give her a free night out. Right?

You don't actually know many women do you? I mean, not ones you don't have to pay so that they consent to be anywhere near you. Actual real women don't think like this at all, except in the fevered imaginations of certain swivel eyed MRAs.

Hang on! MRAs are on the side of being able to buy consent? Say it aint so!

FloraFox · 16/04/2014 23:30

tukapov seems to be one of those men who thinks a woman's consent is generic to all men or a group of men. He doesn't see the consent as specific to the man or the occasion. That's the sort that gets resentful if he feels he is owed sex. I'm thinking of that standup guy who made the good speech about the friend zone.

No wonder he has such a poor understanding of meaningful consent.

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:51

"very poor arguing skills there."

Do you see any problem with the way Sweden treats sexworkers?

tukapov · 16/04/2014 23:54

Wouldn't a system where the things I mentioned in post 23:06:52 didn't happen be better?
