The problem I have with your view is that you claim (implicitly) to speak on behalf of working girls, to have some unique insight into the dynamics which exist in the sex industry. I think you are driven by feminist theory rather than by the real and complex reality of the world which doesn't lend itself to neat theorising. The real world is messy Flora.

Plenty of discussion on parenting in this forum - it just doesn't seem to attract punter types in the same way as threads on prostitution.

Prostitution is something which affects our daughters and sons - well worthy of feminist discussion - but having someone from PN register to say "yeah but punting's great, and I'm nice" doesn't really add much to the debate.
