Isn't it just the case that it's nearly impossible to achieve huge memorable changes in the world without being a bit of an arsehole? You've got to have a massive ego to think you can take on such a challenge, and so it's really not that surprising that pretty much everyone who achieved massive changes for the good turns out to have been a bit of a sod round the house and have various other unattractive traits.

My point? I think the 'west' needs to look at its history and look at other countries histories to figure out where they stand in the grand scheme of things. Not be judgemental and take the moral high ground. The west still has a long way to go to reach the 'civilised' status most countries have already achieved.

1. Look at your own country, and see if you can do something about the glass ceiling.
2. See if you can do something about the inherent racist culture that exists here. Once these people have human rights, then you can jump on your pink girly bandwagon.
3. Try and solve the binge drinking culture as it really is not helping our reputation and youths.
4. Try and solve the young age pregnancy issues. All the east thinks that girls here start having sex and babies at 10!!! Yes, the east reads your news papers too but does not come to judge you or preach to you because it is busy concentrating on its own problems. (unlike you)
