Samantha Brick is now claiming that her role as a "Trophy Wife" is wonderful and fulfilling.

Why is the mail not being challenged on the fact they are printing pages of sexist horse shite which they then market as "FEMAIL" as though women need to be told to slap on the lippy and get back in the kitchen. I even detest the term Femail, why?

I know its rather unfeminist and flippant to say it but she might dress a bit more attractively if she didn't let her DH get so involved in her outfit choice.

I would be beautiful and would be married to someone really weatlty, who gave me a huge amount to spend on what I pleased. I would accompany my husband to the Opera, and look lovely at all times. I feel the mail should have some responsibility towards it's writers in the same way that any other organisation should that employs people. Why are the exploiting this woman or at the very least allowing her to make herself look so silly.

Your concern is touching OP but I would imagine Samantha is laughing all the way to the bank. Unlike Liz Jones who at some stage started believing the travesty of herself that she has created, Samantha appears to have her ( fairly average looking) head screwed on quite well. For a trophy wife she seems to do quite a lot of self publicity and paid articles.

Well I doubt Samantha whatever-her-name-is is an employee - she's most likely a freelancer so The Mail have no duty of care at all.

As for their editorial responsibilities, this is The Mail. They will print what sells. You have increased their revenue by linking to the website and driving more traffic there.

As this this is the feminism topic I should probably say something about not colluding with the patriarchy but I cba.

She might be a freelancer but the mail have editorial control. Anyone of us could send in a well written piece (or in this case not so well written) about any number of things, perhaps how covering the pay gap between men and women, do you think they would publish it. No, because they are encouraging the female writers to write tripe that demeans women.
