Apparently a page from a magazine about One Direction, the boyband.

Not sure whether to be Angry or Sad.

That is beyond vile.

Hmm, they've spelt 'gray', rather than 'grey', so I'm assuming it's not a UK publication.

Any ideas what the magazine was called/who published it?

I'm assuming from the bit that says "she was the host of Englands x factor" and the spelling of gray, that this is an American publication......I'm slightly at a loss for words....how incredibly rude, apart from any of the other things that are wrong with it Angry

Wow. That is really nasty.
Lets teach our girls to hate a woman for dating someone they like.
Lets teach them that 33 is washed up and over the hill.
Lets judge someone entirely on the way they look (when actually she's a very attractive woman but lets make out she's not...)

Christ on a bike I feel sorry for that woman. I knew she had to endure a bit of a shit storm but that beggars belief.

That page looks a bit photoshopped??

Shock FGS what is wrong with people?

I've never even heard of this woman, but encouraging (pre?) teens to engage in that kind of vitriol as if it's a game is despicable.

Not to mention the good old double standard re dating a man half your age. Of course we all know that a man dating a woman a third his age is, naturally, fine.

There is only one thing that beats hating women and that's hating older women. Angry

Once again a chance to undermine any notion of a sisterhood, particuarly amongst teenage girls.
I am up for a complaint letter if there are plans.

I was reading that with growing horror at the nastiness of it, but when I got to her date of birth I actually felt a bit winded. She's a year younger than me.

People think like this?

I feel... so sad.

Jesus. I have seen these kind of petty, bitchy comments on internet sites, but the idea that someone actually published them is beyond belief.

Never mind the feminist angle (though there are plenty), this is just bullying pure and simple.

I hope Caroline Flack never sees this, or if she does, can laugh it off for the overblown teenage jealousy it is.

Petition- or would that just give them the oxygen of publicity?

This is hugely repulsive but I am quite surprised that all of you do think it's appropriate for a 32 year old to date a 17 year old?

Report
LynetteScavo · 20/05/2012 19:55

Ewww.....do you think it was written by a 15 yo work experience person trying to impress Confused

"Zero engagement rings. Because no-one wants to be with her!"

Do most people have multiple engagement rings then?
