Well that's us told laydees. How can we possible think that women's situation could be compared to that of gays or people of different races? Because, like, we make up over half the population and therefore it is completely impossible for us to be in anyway at a disadvantage in society. Despite the fact that men dominate all positions of power and high flying jobs, despite the fact that more women live in poverty that man, despite the fact that one in five or will be sexually assaulted in our lifetimes, despite all this, we are the majority and thus have nothing to complain
Perhaps it is bigoted to think that custody and residence of children should be decided in the best interests of the child and not because of fathers' rights. Perhaps it is bigoted to question the premise that mothers are liars and manipulators who have children merely to be able to claim benefits. But I don't think so.
Perhaps it is not bigoted to go around threatening people who disagree with you or trolling around parenting websites looking to insult mothers. Perhaps it is not bigoted to assume you know more about mothers than mothers themselves.
I suspect not though. A bigot was someone who threatens and insults in order to get what he wants from people he hates and may even believe considers he has "rights" over. And if the cap fits, members of F4J posting on this site, it fits you like a glove.
