Breivik is critical of the influence of women in his life saying: 'I do not approve of the super-liberal, matriarchal upbringing though as it completely lacked discipline and has contributed to feminise me to a certain degree.'
Both his mother and stepmother are described as feminists.

I wonder what connection he made in his mind?
What could have happened in his family?

Hmm well I can see that the feminism section is filled with views with absolutely zero evidence. An awful lot don't have the best of intentions either. I'm out, enjoy the rant :)

eh?
Love it when people have to announce they are leaving a thread and you're all wrong. If I don't like a thread anymore I just sidle off to a new one, quietly.

Yes but eldritch the difference between us is you are an all knowing super feminist while I am just the ordinary mistake making kind of feminist.

Personally I think there are more important things than etiquette when there are looney tunes posters on the loose. But I will stop complaining.

EldritchCleavage · 28/07/2011 15:07

All knowing super feminist? Oh, hardly. I muddle along, like most women on here.

And I don't generally agree with sakura either, but I either (i) leave it; or (ii) try to engage politely without calling her names. It doesn't always work-I was on the smear test thread profoundly disagreeing with her, actually. If I remember correctly I said her posts were bonkers, which wasn't very nice of me.

However, I admire sakura's ability to take the often trenchant critcism she gets, even if I don't admire the content of her posts. If I may (gently) say so, you could take a leaf out of her book on that score.

Well done sakura, you take that often trenchant criticism you get in an admirable fashion and I will take a leaf out of your book, thanks to the advice of eldritch.

I feel so much better now. I think that's all that was needed. Thanks!
