What should your vagina look like?

I don’t know who on earth I can ask
this to but I’m worried my vagina isn’t normal.

So if I look with a mirror , I have the labia bit and then inside is pink fleshy bit with ridges in it. It’s not a black hole. It’s like a pink squishy thing covering the whole area with ridges in. It’s not popping out or outside the labia lip bit. It’s inside- is this what it’s meant to look like? I never looked before and have since had 2 children.

Please help I feel weird . I will attach a picture I found on the internet. So sorry for this weird question.

I think you have to ask yourself what can't a vagina look like as no one vagina is the same. Quite often if you've had kids your cervix can be very low and presents near the entrance as a pink squishy thing, if you have a large poo waiting to emerge that can present as a big vaginal lump especially after kids. There are all kinds of things going on down there.
Sorry TMI I know. I was a nurse for 20 years and have seen hundreds, the variety is astonishing.
What is rare is a perfect porn star vagina I suspect most of those are surgically transformed.

Mine is similar to yours Op, I took a look the other day as sex was painful and I bled a bit. It wasn't particularly difficult to look, I'm not sure why some posters think that it is hard! Mine looks like it has a little round pink fleashy bit just slightly up inside me. It wasn't like this way about a year ago. I'm post menopause, with IBD so I guess it's a mixture of bowel issues, hormones etc. I was extreamly worried but now realise that is most likely my cervix has dropped a little. I remember many years ago a smear showing cervical erosion. It all adds up I guess. 😔

Mine has hardly any outer lips it’s been described as “puffy” lol. It looks nice and neat usually but after sex especially if my partner wears a sleeve or I use a girthy dildo it is visibly left open for some time and he also has said even though it looks neat and tight usually that I can instantly take a huge amount of girth if I’m wet but he wouldn’t of thought so when first looking at it. It was a comment made in respect to some of his exes who naturally had shall we say a big opening all the time.

I thought this was a post on “what should your vagina look like” ?. And my comment was just as descriptive as others on here. And I didn’t go into “so much detail” about being wet, simply i was saying I can take said large girth when it is.

But that information was entirely unnecessary as it doesn’t relate to the post the OP made, which was about ridges and pink fleshy tissue. I have lichen sclerosis so I've looked at my genitals an awful lot ( I have to apply steroid cream when I have a flare up as I get very painful splits in the skin). I use a torch and a mirror. Mine looks just like the picture you added. The lichen sclerosis affects the outer parts not the inner. Your vagina is entirely normal. Honestly don't worry about it. If you are worried make an appointment with a nurse at your GP practice to see your mind at rest.

I second a prolapse. I have had this checked out multiple times 🤣. After I gave birth to my one and only baby I kept getting told I didn't have a prolapse but after seeing many doctors and then a gynaecologist it has been confirmed as a prolapse of the vaginal wall. I am seeing a physiotherapist and doing keagels to fix it. However, I have been told it if it doesn't bother you it may not ever get any worse ... Or it might. Mine bothers me as my pelvic floor was weak and I had urinary problems .

I looked at mine once and got a shock.

Probably because we can't see them often so they are shock to us when we do see them.

Also they are just not that pretty !

This is an incredibly strange post…

8 weeks post baby at the moment and had the exact same fear after finally looking. 😂 I went to a womens health physio last week as I was worried it was a sign of prolapse. All normal, no prolapse or abnormal shape / interior. She did say more pelvic floor exercises would tighten the inner walls back up a bit but appearance is normal.

Fair enough 🤷‍♀️
