Just that really, is this usual for anyone else?

2 months this has been happening, sometimes shorter ones sometimes longer.

No definitely vagina.

And to those who said they felt sick, come on.

Does it easily separate like a bit of goo or is it more like string and firmly stuck together like a worm? Have you taken a sample of it to your doctor?

sunnysidegold · 12/08/2020 23:21

YABU.

Although the responses have amused me, I was not really in the mood to see someone's vaginal discharge just as I was sitting down to a cup of tea and a biscuit.

You could ask mumsnetHQ to edit your title to be a bit more strongly worded than "possibly tmi" and include a photo warning.

Fruitsaladjelly · 12/08/2020 23:22

No after a google it’s not a worm, the candida sounds very likely.

Tootsey11 · 12/08/2020 23:23

It's stretchy, and comes apart quite easily. It's not sperm, other half and I have not dtd since March.

Sorry you're getting a load of stick OP. I immediately saw it was discharge. I haven't had super stringy discharge but I've had something similar but less severe with thrush. I agree the GUM clinic will be the ones to actually help get to the bottom (no pun intended) of it.

Geppili · 12/08/2020 23:25

Op, ask HQ to edit thread title to: AIBU or is this a levitating albino twiglet?

Fruitsaladjelly · 12/08/2020 23:25

This is mumsnet, we are mums, we deal with shit, puke and have all given birth so seen far worse than a bit of stringy vaginal discharge

Gingerkittykat · 12/08/2020 23:26

Does it happen constantly or come and go during your cycle?

Lightsabre · 12/08/2020 23:27

Some kind of worm I think.

backseatcookers · 12/08/2020 23:30

Did roundworm look possible at all OP?

Can't believe people are bollocking her or saying they are going to be sick as if she's committed a heinous crime. Come on now!

SuperCaliFragalistic · 12/08/2020 23:34

That is proper gross. I'm a confirmed sporner but definitely prefer an accurate TMI warning. No possibly about it.

LunchBoxPolice · 12/08/2020 23:36

Does it smell?

59giggles · 12/08/2020 23:37

@Geppili

From her family
This made me cry with laughter @Geppili
BrummyMum1 · 12/08/2020 23:38

I was able to handle this thread until someone suggested it might be a worm 😱

fwwaftp · 12/08/2020 23:39

I didn't bollock her. I've asked Mumsnet to put a warning in the title about the picture.
It genuinely turned my stomach over.
If it didn't make others feel sick then good for them. We all experience disgust in different ways. Some things that create a disgust/sick response in me won't affect others at all and vice versa.

I also did not say she had committed a heinous crime.

Thewomeninthemirror · 12/08/2020 23:39

Ffs, I can’t unsee that!

Clean out with a mop and bleach maybe?
Failing that maybe try a health professional Smile

MiddleClassProblem · 12/08/2020 23:39

I don’t think it’s a worm. Looks too inconsistently in and out. Why did I zoom in?

I’m guessing it’s a gloopy texture. Like a semi firm snot?

Geppili · 12/08/2020 23:44

@Thewomeninthemirror
Cruel.

Blurberoo · 12/08/2020 23:47

Following with interest because I’ve had the same thing for about a year. It’s horrible, stringy and yellowish. Quite snot like as a pp mentioned. Yuk. Doesn’t smell or anything. I’ve also got a coil but it’s a non-hormonal one. I’ve been to the doc too and even had a scan- no sign of anything untoward. I put it down to weird IUD issues.
Until... recently when I’ve been bleeding a lot. At first at ovulation time but now almost constantly. Cramping, too. I’m pretty worried and on the cusp of phoning the doc- I missed my smear in March thanks to Covid Sad

Blurberoo · 12/08/2020 23:48

I wondered if it was something to do with the cervix being irritated by the coil strings and shedding a lot or something.

thinkingaboutLangCleg · 12/08/2020 23:50

Pickle’s suggestion of a decidual cast sounds possible. But really OP, please put this in a jar, insist your GP refers you to gynae and take it with you.
Good luck. This must be frightening, but someone in the NHS will know what to do.
