Women's Football - European Championships starting Wed 6/7

Anyone else excited about the women's euros? I'd love to follow the progress of the teams (especially England) with any football-supporting Mumsnetters. Thrilled that it's a home tournament, commiserations to Scotland and Wales for not making it through qualification. Huge congratulations to NI, qualifying for the very first time.

Doesn't have to be just match-related, either - comments on the background to each women's team (especially from non-British fans), and of course the kits all welcomed.

Germany v Austria next

I'll go with a Germany win, 3-1

FT Germany beat Austria 2-0. That second goal

I feel for Austria but if you don't take your chances...

Sweden v Belgium

I go with 2-1 to Sweden.
Belgium would be better for England.

I'm a bit worried about Sweden, actually. I think England will win but will be very tough.
FWIW, Stine Blackstenius has now scored four fantastic goals, three of which have been ruled out! So unlucky.

I wouldn't have guessed Sweden are ranked 2nd in the world after last night. Suspect they'll up their game against England though.
