I love Falconer's Lure - it answered so many questions for me.

They SHOULD reprint them all, I find it so odd that such splendid work is out of print.

I love the fact that it fills in so many gaps. The whole Unity Logan question, Rowan leaving school (I was so shocked when she wasn't going back in End of Term), the introduction of Patrick and where The Sprog came from.

There is nobody in RL I can share this with who would get it AT ALL.

Yes, finding out about Unity Logan was great. Also why Nicola was so diffident about riding horses.

I am being hampered in my obsessive reading by the fact that I have got lots of workmen fitting a kitchen and it is chaos here. They are still here! The book is safely tucked away upstairs so no harm comes to it.

I love Falconer's Lure. Although not sure which one is my overall favourite - depends on my mood at the time.

They have all been republished by Girls Gone By Publishing and I was able to get them as they came out for which I feel very grateful Maybe they could be persuaded to do another print run?

The GGB re-prints still turn up on ebay quite a bit.

Although my biggest finds pre-GGB were 'The Marlows & the Traitor' (charity shop, 40p, I hyperventilated quite a bit) & 'The Players & The Rebels' (languishing in Durham University library - I borrowed it, 'lost' it, & paid a £5 lost book fee. I know, I know, it was very wrong of me, but no-one else had taken it out in 5 years...).

I wrote to Antonia Forest when I was about eleven and then again when I was a couple of years older so have two letters from her!
I have bought some of the recent reprints but have hardback copies of Runaway home and the Attic term, and a paperback of Peter's room but not sure where that is since a house move. Nice to see some fellow fans!

D'you know, I've been bursting to share the lolcatted Forest since I stumbled across it a few weeks ago, & I know NOT ONE PERSON in RL to whom I could explain why it's so fabulous. So thank you ladies!

She does Forest fanfic too - fanfic generally makes me squirm, but she's actually caught the tone rather nicely.

I still feel a bit of residual guilt about pinching 'Rebels'. It has been lent out since though!
