Has Anyone Read the Black Dagger Brotherhood Books by JR Ward?

I am on book 4 at the moment and just loving them - I really don't want them to end. Has anyone read them and enjoyed them? If so, what did you read next?

I think your probably right FnD. I think Lara Adrian hit her peak by book 1 chapter 3.

I havent got dark lover yet and Id be gratful if you could try e-mail it please. If not I will try and pick it up in paper back, but it will have to wait, Ive got DSs birthday next week.

I bought him High School Musical 3 as a joke last year because I wanted to watch it, but I get the feeling that the BDB wont be very appropriate, even given in jest... not that DS would even attempt to read them, he didnt get his paper phobia from me.

Not got time to linger but just wanted to suggest the Christine Feehan Carpathian series for the Vampires or if it doesnt have to be vamps then Laurell K Hamiltons Meredith Gentry series is fantastic.

Dark Lover isn't fan fic Team - its by author JR Wards.

Wide Awake, The Office & Clipped Wing are all Twilight fan fic.

Well, I have finished Dark Lover and man alive IT IS GOOD!

FnD: Finished LA - f*cking loved it . I'm going to start Dark Lover again and read in slower time - I can't wait for April for the new book.

FnD & Team: I have just ordered the first book in the Kresley Cole Immortals after Dark series - I'm not liking the sound of Lara Adrian - I will have to dig out some old wallpaper and over the book when it arrives (like I did in school!).

Sandy - LA is just great isnt it? I have just read a sherilyn cole one that was given free on the e-reader. Had the most ridiculous storyline ever - truly awful. I LOVED it! think am going to return to the BDB again now. let us know how the new books go!

My next BDB book should arrive tomorrow, for now I am just re-reading Dark Lover to keep me going.

Hi everyone. I'm so glad that I found this page. It is great to find some other people who love the whole vampire book genre lol. I'm currently reading Sookie Stackhouse book 9 Dead and Gone and it is great. I am almost finished and now I have to wait on book 10 Dead in the Family to be released on 27th May (can't wait-preordered from Amazon!). I know I'll have withdrawal symptoms and was wondering what to try next. I have read the Twilight series and Host but really didn't know where to go next. Now I know what I'm going to order now-Dark Lover! Can't wait to start it Thanks for this thread lol!!!

Hi Sandy yeah I hope I like them too. Amazon dispatched them yesterday evening so, hopefully, I'll get them tomorrow. Just in time for me finishing Dead and Gone. Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse series?

I tried to read the Sookie books - got to the end of book 2 and just didn't like it - I don't like how Sookie treats Bill and can't get my head around it.

I've re-started Dark Lover again . I've also ordered Kresley Cole's first in the IMD series and am going to by JR Ward's new line Covet. Just love my vampire men

Sandy, I thought I was the only one who felt like that re:Sookie and Bill. I am hoping that the tv series differs from the book in this way. So looking forward to 26th Feb (True Blood series 2 on FX)

You know I am getting itchy, the postman has not brought my second DBD book, and I bet he turns up tomorrow, the one day I will be out most of the day! Am almost tempted to read the spoilers online...

Tin: don't read the spoilers, try and hold off, Rhage's book is really good, still not as good as book 3 Zsadist - totally my favourite.

I watched part of True Blood but was fed up of seeing Jason Stackhouse naked - I mean it was just every which way and I was bored of it. Series 2 is supposed to be better as Eric is in it a lot more.

I've decided I must like protective males as these as the sort of books I seem to enjoy
