Has Anyone Read the Black Dagger Brotherhood Books by JR Ward?

I am on book 4 at the moment and just loving them - I really don't want them to end. Has anyone read them and enjoyed them? If so, what did you read next?

FnD: already on it - thinking of the Immortals Series or the Demonica Series. I have got the insiders guide but was going to read it last. Z is still my favourite although I also loved V' story and Rhage & Mary. I have had to order the set as I have been getting mine from the library but I seriously need to read these all again in slow time . Is the insiders book good? There is a new black dagger book out in April so will need something to fill my time until then I'm bloody shattered!

I am knackered! the sooner I finish these books and can get to bed at a decent hour the better! right book 5 is finished, Sandy how are you doing with book 6? and Mrs N remind me of what is happening in the SS books - my favourite was the one all about eric.. swoon.

I thought book 6 was a bit slow and isn't at steamy as the others but I'm half way through and starting to like it, no where near as good as the others but good enough. I was reading it whilst cooking tea!

FnD: Just finished Lover Enshrined - just ready to start Lover Avhenged - where are you up to?

FnD: Yes, I think LE is my least favourite so far - not enough sex scenes for me I'm afraid I'm think of one of these series - what do you think?

Sandy- Whats the first one called. They have one on my kindle called Covet by JR Ward . I can try a sample first to see if i like them. I couldnt get into True Blood either. My DD is reading Vampire diaries though which she loves, I havent read them myself.

Just been reading Twilight series again and will be finnished Breaking Dawn by the end of the week, so I need something new.

TeamCullen: Covet is different to the Black Dagger books - it's JR Wards new line. You need to get Dark Lover - promise you won't be disappointed - just search JRWard Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Let me know if you start reading.

Vampire Diaries is okay but is nothing like the series just about to start on TV next Tuesday, the tv series is really good so if you are planning to watch don't read the books at the same time.

Sandy - I was going to say Sherrilyn Kenyon cos I have one of her books already on my e-reader. But have just gone to the lara adrian website and those books look a right winner. As much as I love vampire porn - and I am not ashamed to admit that I do, I cannot cope with the covers of the kresley cole books. I just can't go that far!!!
Am still reading LE - Phury is growing on me.

TeamCullen - Sandy is right - Dark Lover is a great intro into the world of vampire sauciness (and I never realised just how big a world it is )

FnD - I'm happy to go for Lara Adrian next if you are . Yeh I fully understand what you mean about the covers!

It doesnt look live the Black Dagger series on Kindle yet. I think Ill have to get it in hard copy.

Can I ask what you think of your kindle? I got the sony e-reader for xmas and was initially v disgruntled as love books - but am slowly being taken over to the dark side by the ease of buying a book at midnight and having it there and then. As well as the ease of carrying it around with me at all times for sneaky vampire top upd

FnD- I miss book covers, Book covers often sell me the book.

But I love the ease of the kindle, the way it holds your page, how much lighter it is taking it to work and back and surprisingly, reading in bed.

I like the fact that I can get my cullen fix without DH rolling his eyes because he doesnt know what Im reading.(he doesnt get my fixation!!)

I can download books on the kindle anywhere without having to connect to a computer or be in a wifi hotspot, and I can download a sample, which is about the first ten pages or so of the book which I like.

My twilight books are doing the rounds in work, Ive currently turned 4 of my workmates into twilight junkies with team edward winning by 4-1 including myself so having another copy on the kindle is very convienient.

Ive just discovered that there is a kindle app on ipod touch and the iphone. My DCs got the ipod touch for christmas so ive added the app to them. It actually saves your place between devices.

So up to now thumbs up apart from having to buy ebooks in dollers from the american store, but hopefully amazon will get their finger out soon so you can buy books direct from amazon uk.

Team: I agree I always look at the book covers. Are we all agreed on Lara Adrian?

Team: What does the kindle app do - my daughter has an ipod touch and she reads as much as I do, just wondered what this did.

Sandy- You need to have a kindle I think, it allows you to read the books you have on your e-reader on the ipod touch. It just gives you more freedom and versatlity really.
But it gives DD the option of sharing my books if she wants.

I downloaded a sample Kiss of midnight. It seems very readable from what I read so Im happy to go for Lara Adrian.

GAH!!! sony e-readers are not liked anywhere... here we are setting up a lovely little vampire porn book club and I cant download the filth from anywhere!!!
Am off to read LA and sulk!

Nope - and am struggling to get LA properly on the e-reader - how are you doing with it? Got the first lara adrian today in paperback so may have to start that instead....
in the book shop today there were shedloads of vampire books - will we ever tire of it???

I've bought all the BDB books now as I know I will want to re-read them.

I have ordered Lara Adrian from the library but won't be able to start that for a while. LA is a very big book and I still have the insiders guide.

I have read Vampire Diaries, the books are good but the t.v. show is so different - don't read the books and watch the show at the same time!

I've read quite a few vampire books now but Twilight Saga & BDB are my favourite so far

Well I am all confused... Edward, Eric, Wrath (insert favourite brother of choice) and now Stefan. What order should go the in????? hmmm will spend my day at work thinking it over....

Ok Im going to download Lara Adrian, Kiss of Midnight tomorrow when I get some pennies in the bank.
