I think I may be slightly in love

Couldn't put it down, off to waterstones tomorrow to get the next ones, tell me i'm no the only one

Haven't read a book in ages that has kept me that interested, even DH said that must be good, I was still reading whilst stirring the soup

Well I bitched about the standard of writing and characterisation but it wasn't bad enough to keep me away, I've just finished Breaking Dawn, I read all four on the trot.

I did enjoy them (in a way!) but I am relieved I will never again have to read the lines "I rolled my eyes" and "He wrapped his arms around my waist" which seemed to occur every 2 pages.

I am "conflicted" . Shelled out for all four books, scarcely took a breath between em, and will no doubt shell out for film.

For proper fans, you can actually buy ring and bracelet online from this beautifully designed website and your Edward or Jacob hoodie.

Also "snarfed" and "scarfed" in relation to food annoyed me.

Jacob any day.

I'm a bit pissed off that they've become so popular actually. I started reading them a few years ago when I bought the first one in Orlando not realising it was for teens. I wanted it to be my secret.

It appeals because there's sooooooo much sexual tension.

Hearing other people talking about it feels like listening to someone one talking about sleeping with my Husband - so could you please stop!

I am 28 with two DC's and a very happy marriage. My Husband is almost Edward Cullen, but not quite. And I think I'd sacrifice it all for just an hour as Bella!

Are these books likely to be of interest to a 29 year old who has never quite got over the tension of whether she prefers Angel or Spike?

Flamesparrow · 01/12/2008 21:56

Yes.

Flamesparrow · 01/12/2008 21:56
