Is it too early to start an Ink Black Heart thread? (No Spoilers)

I tried to hold back until July so I could say 'next month', but apparently the cover design and back cover blurb will be released tomorrow.

Anyone have thoughts and/or predictions they'd like to obsess over for a couple of months?

I haven’t read all of the posts as I’ve seen some posts have spoilers and I want to enjoy the book before going to the spoilers thread. The sheer size of this book is making me feel a bit feeble. I can barely hold it!!

I actually found it hard to read at first, because of the fearless facing into the horrors of the internet trolls - All the more reason to StandWithJKR!

I feel affronted as last night I made the mistake of going on Twitter and seeing vile TRAS having a go at JKR for a fake homophobic post - anyway someone in response to her "transphobia" had revealed the identity of anomie......I quickly looked away and blocked the account but know I think i know who it is!

But never mind, the joy of the novels for me is the relationship between Robin and Strike and how she constructs the narrative so cleverly so it won't spoil it for me after all. Going to stay off Twitter until I am done though!

I am so furious. I read a review of the book on Twitter and the author has spoilt it for readers halfway down with no warning. Not a blogger either; a proper journalist.

Is it still worth reading if I know whodunnit?

Am only on page 315 so no nothing at all but already think I know who the killer may be. Really hope not as feel it's so, so obvious and hope JK hasn't gone the blindingly obvious route.

She never usually does.

RE : TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
Unfortunately the "two finger" trick doesn't work on my kindle . It just increases my reading font size but not the "chat" pages.
But never say die - I found a magnifying glass !!!

I do think though that this is something that should have been sorted before publication. Kindles are a godsend for people with sight problems but not this particular book unfortunately.

I am up to Chapter 58

I'm reading my Kindle version on the Kindle app on my smart phone.
It allows me to zoom in on the chatroom text. Hopefully that helps anyone having trouble on older Kindles.
I've just finished it and I'm experiencing that bereft feeling you get when a good book ends

I'm struggling a bit with the audio version when it comes to the email/social media/YouTube sections. I know I'd read these fine but having the narrator read out every email address, user name etc gets a bit tedious.

Appreciate no way around this but is the one thing that makes me wish I had the book instead. Otherwise I'm enjoying it.

For those of you with Waterstones orders, I overheard the manager in my local talking to regular.

Apparently the warehouse has had repeated IT and logistics issues over the past few months. When I was there a fortnight ago, he said the backlog of orders was 2-4 weeks depending on what it was. He also said that he had no idea why Waterstones online (run as a separate business to the stores) was being so cloak and dagger about it and mentioned that he had been told to blame the backlogs on Royal Mail (as per a pp above).

Hope you all get your copies soon!

I agree with the audiobook comments -it's put a dampener on it for me as I'm struggling to listen.
I may be forced to go and buy the actual book. (Not done that in a while)

I've got the physical book and I'm struggling with the online chat stuff. It's like checking through a teen's phone. Nothing makes much sense. Not helped by the text being very small and me needing new glasses😫

On mine, you press and long-hold on the webchat text, then it puts it into a box outline and offers a zoom option. Takes forever to scroll up and down the pages with double columns though.

I’ve finished and I’m bereft! It is brilliant.
We live right next to one of the locations and I got thoroughly overexcited and sent a screen shot of the page to everyone I know claiming this means JKR has practically been to my house for a cup of tea.
I don’t know what to do with myself now…
