Is it too early to start an Ink Black Heart thread? (No Spoilers)

I tried to hold back until July so I could say 'next month', but apparently the cover design and back cover blurb will be released tomorrow.

Anyone have thoughts and/or predictions they'd like to obsess over for a couple of months?

Has anyone had an email from Waterstones to say their pre-ordered copy is available to collect? I ordered mine months ago but when I check the app it just says processing.

Mines come (not from Waterstones) and I’ll be starting this evening

I contacted them and emailed them and tried to chat to them and go no reply. Ended up cancelling and bought locally.

My copy arrived just before 4 & I'm up to chapter 10. I'm totally engrossed & getting irritated with my children interrupting me! I've not been on MN in forever but I had to come back so I'd have someone to talk to once I've read it! I'm formulating theories but I'm sure they'll all be proved wrong shortly!

I cannot wait to listen to this on audible. I find this such an immersive series and just love it. These books are my happy place. Robert Glenister is a wonderful narrator on audible.

Sad to see that the woke trolls have already landed on goodreads giving the book one star and pontificating about how no one should read the book because JK has expressed some views on Twitter that they find offensive. Sigh.

It is really really good. Quarter of the way through and I can't put it down. Am extremely amused, impressed and intrigued. I just couldn't admire JKR more

I'm up to chapter 28, Im absolutely enthralled. I can't wait to talk about it! I have two solid theories so far.

Not RTFT but a 1000 plus pages! I think JK needs to be edited.

I have read nearly all the series and I still think Cuckoo Calling was the best. The last two meandered quite a bit.But I will still read them because there is enough amidst all the verbiage to keep me engrossed.

This is an issue for me too.

Just took the dog on the longest walk so i could get started on the audiobook. I love Robert Glennister’s narration so much.

Technical issue !

Have just started on Kindle. There are several pages of "chat" from a chat room. These are typed and displayed in columns in such a small font that I can hardly see them. Altering my Kindle font size has no effect at all. ( I use 10 or 11 for normal reading)

Anyone got any ideas - otherwise it appears as if I may miss huge chunks of the plot .

I'm on chapter 12 via audible. Really enjoying it! Some of the themes and references are very relevant to VERY recent controversies re JKR eg SR

I just loved TB. I read it during the weird second lockdown. I was commuting 2 hours a day in the winter and have weirdly fond memories of driving home in the dark just soaking up every last word.

I normally speed up audible to at least x1.5 but I'm keeping this the normal speed as want to drag it out!
