Yup. I am stubborn I started so I could read different books so want to see it through, but I'm intrigued about everyone else

I gave up on two of them

coco....flame is absolutely determined to never ever give up on a book, and so far (and I have known her nigh on 7yrs now) she has plowed thro each and every one she has got!!!

she is better then me......I find life is too short to continue with a book that does not catch my interest after the first couple of chapters. it does not mean it is a bad book tho, sometimes it is just that I am not in the right frame of mind for that type of story.

I will admit tho that I have not been able to complete two of the books so far.

I think I gave up on a couple of books as well , wonder if we've not read the same ones?!

I've read all the ones that I've had so far - the only one I was strongly tempted to give up on was the one I received first, and somehow that was psychologically "too difficult" for me (giving up so early, I mean, not the book - although possibly could say that too!!).

I've had five books - from lunavix, Flame, TheMadHouse, PsychoMum and (mystery, possibly whispy). Rosmerta, completely forgot today was the 28th... will try and put in the post tomorrow.

I'd never heard of him before, actually - pretty much exactly what I wanted out of a book swap! He got a mention in a recent Grauniad piece about dumbing down cover design - interesting piece, wld link but I'm not sure whether we're still trying to keep book titles to the Book Swap circle threads...?

Any chance I could join too? Very keen.....reading keeping me sane

I've read this months already and I don't want to send it late again.

This second book arrived late last week...I started it this morning and I read it today. It's just what I'd hoped the book club would do for me. Not even vaguely my kind of book, but I really enjoyed it.

Off now to sort through my bookshelves for the next one!

Sorry, but I was late sending the books, after I'd promised to. So sorry...the summer holidays really put a crimp in my organisational skills (what little I have).

You should get your books shortly though as they were sent on Saturday.
