Then We Came to The End - Joshua Ferris

Got rave reviews but I'm not entirely convinced - I'm finding the writing in the first-person plural thing really annoying, although I can see what he's trying to do. Also everyone said it was laugh-out-loud hilarious, which I am not finding, but then that's probably for the same reasons I didn't find The Office as hysterical as everybody else. Just too close to real life to be comfortable.

13 moons by the chap who wrote Cold Mountain. It's is very atmospheric and beautifully written. Also reading This book will save your life by AM Holmes. very funny and surreal and sort of sweet.
Also re-reading a very harrowing book called Good Women Of China - hideden voices by Xinran Xue.

The Letters of Noel Coward
Don't like Barry Day's asinine comments though.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

It's fantastic. Would never normally read a fantasy book but I can't put this one down.
