Whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth, we all know what it's like to really fancy a little (or large) bit of something. GBBO contestant Martha Collison's new book Crave is about just that - and we're asking you to share your cravings below for a chance to win.

We all know the feeling. What starts as an insignificant little niggle which grows into a demanding full-on craving. The kind that drags you out of bed in the middle of the night on a search for cheese, or causes you to break away from your desk in a desperate hunt for chocolate.

Crave is the second book from Sunday Times bestselling author and Great British Bake Off contestant, Martha Collison. Using inspired food science and delicious cuisine combinations, she provides go-to recipes incorporating eight flavours we so often find ourselves hankering for: chocolate, cheese, caramel, citrus, fruit, nut, spice – and alcohol!

These include ‘Instant’ recipes like lemon cheesecake pots, ‘Soon’ recipes that are ready to snaffle in under an hour, such as chilli chocolate churros, and you’ll also find ‘Worth the Wait’ recipes, which really are what they say on the tin... Creative, inspiring and imaginative, these are the recipes you just have to have.

For the first time since the introduction of the original Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in 1936, KitchenAid has launched a mini version of its iconic culinary workhorse. The KitchenAid MINI Stand Mixer, is 20% smaller and 25% lighter with a 3.3 litre bowl - perfect for smaller batch lifestyles!

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of the book plus a KitchenAid MINI stand mixer (worth £449) just tell us: what food or flavours do you crave most? Feel free to give examples of the ways you satisfy them e.g. what meals - even the more weird and wonderful ones!

Crave is out on 27 July - buy the book from Amazon for £16.99

*KitchenAid MINI stand mixer colour will be pink

Chocolate (especially dark) and crisps, those staples of a healthy diet. Anything with chillies as well, i find it weirdly satisfying to feel like i have a hot coal in my mouth. Been eating them raw recently with meals.

WarmHugs · 03/08/2017 19:27

Crisps.

If I crave them and I haven't got them in, I just make my own. I could live solely on crisps!

clarem100 · 03/08/2017 19:27

always chocolate!

kassza · 03/08/2017 19:29

Cheese

paradoxicalInterruption · 03/08/2017 19:37

Crisps, it's the salt, always the salt.

tinkertink2010 · 03/08/2017 19:54

Chocolate and sweets like Haribo. I do have a sweet tooth!

CordeliaScott · 03/08/2017 20:08

Crisps or orange juice. I assume it's for the salt and vitamin c

Julieguy · 03/08/2017 20:09

Crisps are my downfall, especially Prawn Cocktail Pringles.

Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 20:16

Cravings as opposed to comfort food ( probably linked to hormones or imbalances I suppose)
Soy sauce
Sushi.
Tuna
Watercress
Comfort food
Roast chick, leeks and mashed potato
Mashed potato with cheese , bacon and butter mixed in, and more cheese on top, grilled till brown and bubbling
Very rare steak

Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 20:18

Oh and did I mention mashed potato? Grin

Minnibix · 03/08/2017 20:27

Chocolate or anything chocolatey, chocolate biscuits, chocolate cake :D you get the picture

Cailin7 · 03/08/2017 20:29

fresh warm bread and butter

keshimonster · 03/08/2017 20:37

I am a savoury girl..I crave crisps!

Frouby · 03/08/2017 20:41

Anchovies. I luffs them.

The naice deli ones in vinegar/oil from the deli counter. And the dirty ones in little finger slicing tins.

In fact I prefer the tinned ones. It's the saltiness of them.

I would like to say I have them on some poncy artisan bread. But I usually eat them stood up at the kitchen counter with my fingers.

emzlovesyou · 03/08/2017 21:00

I couldn't live without my all time crave.
Something delicate, yet so scrumptious. Something that gives me so little energy but so much satisfaction!
*CRISPS!*
I just HAVE to try every NEW flavour that comes out!
I love the crunchy ones, the big ones, the small, long, ridged and spicy ones!
Hula Hoops, Steak Mccoys, and Roysters are my absolute fav!!!!
If it was that easy.. Id have one packet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. But they never fill me up and I end up eating way to many!

Crisps.. Im just going to have another bag.. ;)

freedomofspeech · 03/08/2017 21:00

Biscuits. Refined sugar in general! The evil stuff

bigchris · 03/08/2017 21:02

Cheese ! From posh stilton and port at Xmas, to grated cheapo Tesco basic on supernoodles

Cannot live without the stuff

jandoc · 03/08/2017 21:12

pepperoni pizza

Narnianescape · 03/08/2017 21:23

Carrot cake

mave · 03/08/2017 21:40

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, I love it!!!

pfcpompeysarah · 03/08/2017 21:40

I can go without many things but fresh baked bread will always call me, that and pasta, if I don't have it for a while I start to drool at the thought of it!

EmNix · 03/08/2017 21:45

Victoria sponge, full of homemade strawberry jam and a big blob of clotted cream. Bliss...

Alexandra87 · 03/08/2017 21:51

McDonald's breakfast wraps

wheretoyougonow · 03/08/2017 21:59

Pickled things! I have even been so desperate as to drink the vinegar the product comes in . I satisfy my craving by eating pickled cockles, adding gerkins or adding balsamic vinegar to whatever I have cooked.
I am not pregnant but it was a lot worse when I was Blush

sarsar123 · 03/08/2017 22:31

Cup cakes with butter cream!
